As Far As I Know Its A Colombian Gold Bud Crossed With TGA's Jack The Ripper @GroErr Could Go Into More Depth :weed:
Subbed!, should be in on this one with the first run of these Columbian Ripper's ;)

So these are Blue Ripper BX1 male (Blueberry x Jack The Ripper), this is the road kill skunk male that stinks up the house in veg. Crossed with my keeper female Columbian Gold (purple pheno) - F1's. The CG female is a strong sativa high but lacks flavours, very acceptable production, it's also a purple pheno. Hoping to find something with more flavour, maybe some purps, and maintain the punch from both strains. @The Dawg volunteered to run some before I even get a chance. Oh yeah, the female finished in 49 days from seed, and the BR's are typically 8 week phenos so looking for <8 week finish on these.

Remember they're regs dude! Although you'll somehow pull 2x fems from that seed ;)

Let's see what's in that box of chocolates

Here's the male:

Absolutely no clue, will depend on how the alleles lined up as @The Dawg was willing to test them before I get to run some starting mid-Feb. In theory with a 49 day mother and the Blue Ripper line typically in the 8 week finish range, at least some if not most phenos should fall in ~ 8 weeks or under though.
Nice. Iove old sativa genetics.

Are they private stock?

Hoping for some quick finish sativa-leaners for sure. The father is my own cross and runs ~60/40 sat-dom. The mother is Columbian Gold from World of Seeds, they were the only one's to have Columbian Gold in regs.

Looking around, there are very few crosses with CG anywhere. Only strain I have that has any ties to CG is Harlequin so it's in my Blue Harley cross which is Blue Ripper x Harlequin.

I flowered out 2 females and a male from seed after culling several. Neither female stretched out of control though, quite manageable and easy to train. I didn't top them, just some super-cropping. Here's the harvest pics, they were run in 5gal fabrics. The most impressive thing with these seeds was how uniform they all were. I had about 8x going at one point in veg and it was difficult to see any differences between them at a glance. I thought maybe they weren't representative of Columbian Gold, and they weren't anything like the CG in the 70's. But the genetics were impressive and smoke has quite a punch. Doing some research I also came across multiple references to finding puple phenos in Columbian landrace varieties.

First is the keeper/mother for this cross, clearly the more productive and was definitely the heavier punch, plus the purps. Door is 36" wide, door knob is 37" from the floor.
