is there a specific ratio of 6500k to 2700k cfls that I could use in veg and flower? So that I just need to change timing of "day" time and " night " to assist from veg to flower? Or is it just get as much cfl as financially possible?

Sounds like you want to flower with those. I like 23W spiral CFL for vegging plants. Don't think it is practical flowering with them, not with how much I smoke anyway.

You need about 30W per week per plant, so you would need a crap tonne of those.
I'd save up and order some starter HLG kit, or some LED strips or COBS and just make something small. The HLGs and LED strips are easiest to heatsink.

I like to use 2/3 daylight to 1/3 warm/soft white for vegging plants and reverse the order for when you flip to flower. Haven't flowered under fluoros for 16 years tho still veg small plants with them until big enough to power them up under a 400w MH.

I have a little veg box I use for seedlings. It has a DIY 10 bulb fixture. I have tried running mixed bulbs.
Growth was lacking under the warm white ones always.

damn has been a while for ya. Heck I just finished one under a combo of Fluores and led bulbs. Just takes a little longer to finish. That's just me though. I have a complete grow of fluores under my belt as well. Looking to upgrade when $$$$ is a little better though....
