Is my Ripley's OG a photo?

Those are after defoliation. I got a grocery bag full of fans off just those 2. Just wondering though. On your 200 watt light does it draw 200 watts? If so can you put a multimeter on in with pic proof? I have never in my life saw a cree light that could handle 200 watts input. Most use higher voltage to get more light output.
You don't read very well. The cob light at 200 watts is running 4 citizen 1212 cobs at 50 watts a piece.

My unit farm light has cree and osram diodes.

Maybe quit cutting the damn leaves off and you will get something.

Its not opinion. There is a difference in cheap ass lights and good ones.

The cree bars you have are for trucks. Lol.

Here is the geyapex light with citizen cobs. Here is the driver. Feel free to look up the specs.

Here is the unit farm. 175 watts.

As I said. I wasn't being mean. Just saying use more light with the cheaper leds. Also quit cutting leaves.

The ones i cut are photos and it's my way of making it easier to water by taking lower nodes and fans. But they won't be ready for flip for another month. They won't be getting hacked on again though. Just more training. I don't grow all autos. I also saw one of your post stating you just started with led around nov. So we both have the same amount of time on led. I also saw you had the same issue as me first grow. I have to use cal mag every other feeding and led are at top of tent now. I did lie not knowing it though. My 44inch is osram 6500k and the 20inch is cree.

I think you have just taken so much shit from everyone on here that you are repaying the favor. The driver you have for your lights is just a higher voltage. As for the fox farm its a bad ass light. Keep it high though or it will bleach. I know you think im just a noob and that may be true. But i will put a ohm meter on today and show picks of my set up with wattage draw from each light. I have a friend who owns a greenhouse and my 1500 watt runs 780 par at 5ft with a 3.5x3.5 footprint. Which from what i gather is a bit much. My opinion on truck lights are as follows a cree light in a grow light is a cree light. A cree light in a light bar is a cree light. Same as with any other light. My ideal was to get full spectrum and i believe i achieved that. Also looks as if both our lights are made in china...

I haven't taken a lot of crap.

Its not fox farm light. It is a unit farm light.

Cobs are a out the best leds besides qb boards or strips.

Mean well are the best driver on the market. The one shown there even has dimming.

A cree light is not a cree light. There are many different cree lights and just because it says cree doesn't mean its good for growing. I wonder about the spectrum on those truck lights. I also wonder about the reflectors. It focuses the light fairly tight.

Mine doesn't dim. Sorry meant unit farm. Please owners of unit farm don't beat me . I agree with Cob lighting being the best. I almost believe cob alone would flower and veg. I'm just a cheap ass and wanted to see what i ended up with growing cheap.

$60 4x4x8 tent
$60 1500w marswell late night ebay win
$40 500w late night ebay
$10 980w cree late night ebay
$40 2000w osram amazon find

$210 had a fan and humidity checker already.

I took all the reflectors out. First grow bleached from 6ft . Live and learn right. 20inch is 6000k 44 is 6500k. Also has an amber setting with 3000k

Take that mars for example. Its not 1500 actual watts. Most led companies especially the cheap ones don't put the actual draw on them. They pull a number out of the air.

I'm all about budget growing. I started with a $80 cab, $100 fan filter combo and $100 4ft 8 bulb t5. I prefer mixed or full spectrum including uv and will be adding a couple t5 back in with the cobs.

Yeah i know its not the best but what makes the light so cheap is that none of the lights are tested on actual draw. So you may have one thats supposed to draw 185w like mine that really draws 150w. When i tested mine it was drawing 240 wall watts. So it was actually drawing more. But the 500w drew less off the wall than listed by almost 20w

I don't understand defoliation. Maybe its because I'm a beginner? Thumbing through Jorge Cervantes book he seems to assert that leaves are like power plants in that they store energy and that removing them is a mistake. I defoliated once and regretted it once my plants went into stretch and the remaining fan leaves all turned yellow. Having the stored nutrients in the big green leaves that I chucked would have made for a healthier plant. I definitely see the merit in getting rid of the "peach fuzz" at the base and all those little leaves...but big healthy fan leaves? again, I'm a relative beginner and probably not seeing the big picture.

In the middle of those was so bushy and compact i couldnt get in the pot to water and all the leaves were touching half werent getting light. Just a big mess. But also those are photos not autos. I do nothing to my autos, except love them more . But goal is to leave them be and stack up from there. With just a bit more LST. Get them about 2 ft tall then switch to 12/12

The unit farm is a strong light. I need a bigger grow space for it.

I don't cut leaves off. About the only time I do it is with certain training techniques where the canopy gets too thick and I do it for air flow to help prevent mold.

I sometimes clean some of the lower stuff off. Just the little ones on the very bottom.

Watering rings work good for watering.

A bushy plant is a healthy one.

Looking good brother @McStrats job well done sir ...Did any of your Gorilla Glue come out smelling like pickle??? One of mine smells like a lemon the other a del-dixi pickle jar ..... out of the 4 I had going I ended up with 23 jars which ain’t bad I just don’t like the smell of that GG ....

I agree a bushy plant is a healthy one. But i didn't want to grow inside the bucket. These are not Auto's, i had about 30 nodes per top. Highest top from dirt was 6 inches. It was a cluster fuck!

Thanks Tx! I'd say all 3 smelled pretty much the same. The smell was almost identical to a Seedman White Widow I grew a few years ago. Very happy with the fastbuds Gorilla Glue. I'll definitely grow it again. I found all 3 seeds germ'd and grew identically.

2 weeks into 12/12. I noticed a little yellowing in some of the lower leaves so I fed Grow formula instead of Bloom. It worked previously in a similar situation. They will go mostly yellow eventually but I find that wen it happens too soon it cuts the life of the plant short and I end up harvesting a week or 2 early. My plan is to keep this one as green as possible for as long as possible.

The smell at this early stage of flower is like onions and garlic and its all over the house. Once I move it back into the grow room (2 weeks) she'll have the carbon filter. For now she's in a closet until the autos are done. A.jpg B.jpg C.jpg
