Will Mueller be fired?

I'm missing a lot of this convo because I have a lot of useless people on iggy, and I kind of like it. ;)

But I'm wondering what effect this wire brush treatment is having on muehler and his prosecutors. I never really trusted them. The fix was in. They are all staunch republicans and would give a LOT of leeway to trump.

But I'm wondering if the attacks are hardening and angering them to the point where they won't pull punches. The unintendeed consequence of trump being trump is that this may end up being a fair investigation instead of an excersize in blaming some little guys and letting the big fish swim.

One can only hope.

So go ahead comrades, keep poking the tiger. When the cage door swings open, you may not like their reaction.

Perhaps I'm naive, but I never doubted Mueller's integrity. I don't believe he came in with preconceived notions or has been hardened or influenced by any of the nonsense going on now (other than factoring it into his strategy since he's a consummate pro at what he's doing and he surely anticipated this and built in some defenses against it). Maybe it is wishful thinking. I hope not.

I think Meuller is absolutely uncompromising in his work...but surely personally he knows Trump is a total orange piece of shit?

Prosecutors always have discretion to pick and choose both charges and those charged. It is entirely within their normal scope. They can choose harder charges or softer, they can choose to charge you as an accessorie or charge you with the crime, they can even choose to leave you an unindicted co-conspirator.

Just look at flynn. surely he could go away for life, but he has a simple perjury conviction with a max sentance of 5 years. Why? It suits muehlers needs.

Muehler may just be after the truth. He may be happy with just making sure all the facts get out, without ever indicting Trump or pence or any of his family with anything serious (or anything at all).

He can be uncompromising in his work, and still come to dozens of very different end points.

But now, he may be painted into a corner. If he doesn't come out with serious charges, his reputation may never recover. The GOP will say he was on a witch hunt, in conjunction with hillary (he was under her eveil witchy spell after all), which couldn't turn up anything because nothing was there.

He almost has to decide to charge everything.

I believe it's likely he's been around and privy to sensitive information long enough to have had a pretty good idea what type of a (cough) man Trump was going in. It'd probably be difficult to find any serious person in Washington (note: "serious" excludes teabaggers) who didn't already know the cut of the Orange Retard's jib. Mueller is a decorated Vietnam vet who has served honorably alongside Republican and Democratic administrations and is regarded by most as a straight shooter. When fat ass Sean Hannity starts bellowing about someone, that's pretty much the Golden Seal of Approval for me. Maybe Mueller can finally give Chubbs Hannity that waterboarding he promised to subject himself to all those many years ago.

not my cheeto hero is on it because your team can't rise above their bias in an impartial professional work environment doing very dumb things like using the dnc dossier to obtain fisa warrants then trying to be sneaky labeling such as an "insurance policy" because your team didn't win the world series this year.

shill.
hey cuck,

turns out it was never the steele dossier, which was started and funded by the ultra right-wing 'washington free beacon', that was the basis for the trump russia investigation.

it was trump's own foreign affairs advisor, papadopolous, drunkenly bragging to an australian ambassador to england that started the trump russia investigation.

remember, that is the same papadopolous who has already pleaded guilty and has been cooperating with mueller, who is a lifelong republican.

are you ever right about anything?

Hahahaha...i guess no matter how many times this admin says mueller will not be fired ...some just can give up thier last hope of trump not being president. There is obviously nothing there-at all.

at present, the dossier is the Steele dossier. steel was retained only when dnc law firm perkins cole retained fusion gps to continue research.

the result was Putin knew trump would be president back when he was hosting the apprentic because blackmail piss tapes.

lol

The ONLY reason muehler hasnt been fired is that, for whatever reason, the orange fugitive doesnt believe he is going to be indicted. He is fine with others taking falls, but he thinks he is free and clear.

He is still expecting a letter saying he is not a target in any investigation.

He may have to wait a while for that letter to arrive.....

are you talking about the dossier that was started by an ultra right wing organization, was not the basis of the trump russia investigation, and which has only been corroborated and proven true so far?

you are one gigantic fucking idiot.
