I got that 35 lb slob on the sAc river about a month ago now. And funny you mentioned the green sturgeon in the low flows up here, I was the first one to find them up here this year. I got around 30 within the week they were there where I found em. Was also catching the striper at the outlet beforehand salmon season. As for salmon season, I landed 116 from the bank and didn't even count the ones from the boats. Went out the other day and my buddy stuck another 30 on a 13" 16oz custom glide bait View attachment 4052562View attachment 4052564View attachment 4052565View attachment 4052566
Please tell me you're releasing them, at least the sturgeon?

Yes, unless guiding we usually release the big sturgeon and almost always release striper bigger then 10 lbs to reproduce for future fishing. Look forward to this weekend. Not sure if I'll be camping but I'll come thru for the day on Sunday.
Cool, man. Sturgeon take forever to reach sexual maturity (15 years) so it's really easy to wipe them out. I'm glad to hear you fish responsibly. I love to fish and like you, I put the big ones back so they can reproduce. Besides, the big ones don't taste as good and I only keep what I'm going to eat. Fucking amazing pics, keep them coming!
