Is smell intensity mostly a strain dependent trait?

This is my 4th run. I did clone off clone though so maybe that watered the genes down?

A guy I was talking to swears by mycos and Atami Bio-NRG Flavor as adding more terpenes. He says it makes his strawberries juicier as well.

What do yall think?

The interesting part was the shooks rum kush was overfed towards the end. I cut it at 1.4EC when im normally at 0.8EC at cut.
I grow a couple of the same strains repeatedly from the same mommas cuts and will say that in my opinion @Yodaweed is spot on with his comment. Low humidity alone in the last 2 weeks of flower will do wonders for terpines and smells. Dry and cure are the pinnacle for getting the most out of it. If you run the exact same strain the exact same way with little to no variables between the 2 grows, Im willing to bet that the batch with the lower RH in the last 2 weeks will have a noticably stronger smelling profile.
As for strains, I have heard anything "hashplant" from Bodhi is fire. No personal exp there though.

Ive never drew that low RH correlation before. Fortunately its winter now for this harvest and my room is at 40-45% RH at a pretty constant 76-80. So ill be able to see if its better.

Though im doing a couple other changes. One being im stretching her out to 9-10 weeks vs 8. And im going to control my drying chamber better in a tent.

I too split my grow lights from season to season. LED's in summer and the 1K hps's in winter. Im paying for all that heat....might as well use it lol.
I have my room set up to utilize outside air for cooling. Summertime is when I hate it cuz the air has to come on....even with LED's.

I was thinking of doing that. But I have baseboard heat from my oil fired boiler. If i was running electric heat id be way more inclined to use a higher wattage lamp.

Im also on a 20A and 1k's with the chiller just wont work. Chiller draws 7.5A.

After I harvest im going to seal the room for winters and retain some of the heat a little better. Move my res outside the room so the chiller isnt battling itself.

Day 54 from flip. Gonna stretch it out until day 70.

All these buds are dense. Hoping to pull atleast 1.5lbs from a 4x4. What do yall think? Under a 520w QB setup.

Forgive the terrible, picture. For some reason my LG G5 camera sucks worse than my Samsung S6 and the G5 is newer.

I need a new phone bad.

GPS also sucks.

Should I harvest the tops in a week and let the bottoms get, more, light to bulk up? Right now ive been defoliating. I also need to get my side panels up to hold up some of these buds. The buds that will turn into 10-14grammers are sagging bad.
