How many plants is ok for my tent size ?

I have a 3’x2’x5’ tent & 2 300w leds. IVe started myself some seeds :D 1 white widow fem, 2 orange bud fems , and a blueberry fem. I also germinated 2 of a accidental cross that happened my last outdoor grow and I’m hoping I’ll get 1 female out of the two ( I had a fem candy kush and my neighbour had some males , my gal ended up being mostly all seeds so figured I’d save them even tho the male is a unknown strain )

This is my grow tent, is it too small and are my lights not sufficient for 5-6 plants ?

I plan to veg 6 weeks, and do a lot of lst from early on.

No, you are nuts and wasteful.

Firstly the tent is too small for 600W.
You want a 2x4 for that.
Vegging for 6 weeks is a waste of time.
For low numbers but 100% use of canopy 2' deep one would run
4 plants, vegged for 24 days. in a 4 x 2
Guess that leaves you 3 plants.

I’m not nuts I’m new, And I used my 2 300w led for my last grow in this tent ( 2 fems) which I vegged 6 weeks and got 18grams a plant. I do think your suggestion of 3 would be best tho. I may have to do 4 now tho since I don’t want to waste a fem. sucks to waste any honestly lol was hoping to try out my “oops” strain.

Those were organic soil grown in 3gal smart pots. This is a pic of them at about 7 weeks into flower (8 from flip) .
I’m planning to use 2gal smart pots this time.
** also wanted to add that my lights although 300w each , only output 150w of true power per light so they’re only getting 300 true watts. **

1 plant vegged for 6 weeks will engulf that size tent. With the lighting you have, maybe 2 plants for 4-5 weeks. Or if you were to scrog one plant, but the veg will be much longer.

I vegged my last 2 for 6 weeks in this tent. I lst & topped. The topping stunted growth once for about 4 days but other then that they only reached 1ft tall before flip because of my training. Both doubled in size but still had lots of height room. ( the tent says it 60” tall but it’s actually 64”) I had 8 main colas per plant. There was room for me to do another in there forsure so I just assumed if I dropped my gallon size down it would work ( I noticed they didn’t even need that big of a pot ) . Seeming like not tho :( bummer , I already germinated these babies and they’re seedlings now - 3 babies are fems I bought so how I gotta pick which to kill ugh

I don't know, I have 8 plants in my tent : 2’x4’x6’11”
So i think 6 plants in a 2x3 is quite doable.
I also have 800W of true LED 10 cob cxb3590 in the same tent.
The thing you might run into is height problems with a 5'4" tent

Well I was lucky my first run as I was gifted 8 plants that had started from seed and were almost 10 inches tall. They had been fimmed a couple of times too.
I'm not sure how long I vegged this run. I've misplaced my grow journal. I use a giant white board to track everything then transfer it to a grow journal. So I know I vegged at least 5 weeks from seed this run.
My next run I should be just a swap of my veg plants into the main tent. Then flip right away.
I use cheap Chinese ebay 5 gallon fabric pots that are more square now. As they take up all of the flood table.
I payed less than $1.50 CND / $1.18 US for each fabric pot.

They fit well in your tent for sure. Hope you grow goes smoothly! I’m in Canada too :) that’s a really good deal on fabric pots , I’ll have to stock up on some. For these babies tho, I’m assuming with Christmas shipping would take forever from China so I’ll have to order from amazon. there’s a pretty good deal on there for a 5pk(17$) thanks again !

The shorter the veg and higher the density the more efficient grows become.
Less media, less fertilizer, less time.

If you do the math with the basic 2x4 400W, 4x4 600W 4x6 1000W with the recommended veg time for SOG, SCROG or freestanding plants. The small SOG plants can grow a pound more a year under 1000W.

I wouldnt kill any just train them. you said you do lst thats good and 8 main per plant is perfect more than that is a waste on any indoor grow. keep an eye out for males is all i'd caution for.
i'm was planning 8 plants mainlined for 8 colas each in a 3x3, but first run is down to seven plants so far and no idea on sex yet. soon im gonna transplant the 7 into 3gal airpots
