Help with first grow

Hi, Just started my first grow and have encountered some problems. Seeds i got are blackberry kush and are about 2 weeks old now, the leaves have a tinge of yellow and development is slow.

I have a tempreture gauge on the way and assume its too hot in there just by feel ( I live in a hot climate ) Im using 8 23w cfls 6 6700k and 2 2400k. For exhuast im using 2 120mm pc fans that i got from ebay ( not to sure on cfm of them but i got cheapo ones so that might be my problem ) And for intake im using an air vent grill roughly twice the size of the 2 pc fans.

Too combat the high tempretures should i potentially upgrade to better 120mm pc fans or should i look at getting an inline exhuast?

Are those air vent grills effective at letting air in? have looked at other passive air intake options but they all look clunky.

Are my seedlings to close to so much light?

specs for box are 23" long 18" wide 28" high

would appreciate all the help i can get :)

Look into LED for heat elimination, those CFL's really arent worth it, especially if you live in a hot climate.

Give her a bit of time before you overthink things, no nutes, don't over water, give her chance to develop decent roots. Nothing wrong yet, leave her be for a while.

I thought LEDs were bad for small spaces due to you have to keep some distance between the lights and the plants or something?

Yeah, like 2-6“ in my case ;)

Actually just shut down 6-7 of your lights! That‘s just killing it. And I would get some proper exhaust fan, or atleast you want a cpu fan, or several case fans put behind ech other, to get a higher pressure. Air intake should be fine, but you can just do the math, and calculate the opening. It should be twice the sice of your exhaust.

if i were to switch down to say 2 bulbs, when should i place the other 6 bulbs back in ? also changed to a 18/6 light schedule with the lights off during the hottest hours

I was at Walmart yesterday and they had 1 dollar 11w 75w eqv led bulbs 2700k and 5000k. 4 of each can use same setup just modifications
Seedling is still young. U could get away with only using the middle 4 bulbs right now to help reducebheay
Other than that looking great

Every week 2 bulbs, or every 3 days 1 bulb. I guess you will veg her like 4 weeks with some training (if you do differently, just adjust the time frame), so you want full power later, when the whole space is covered. And check out Bridgelux EB strips, if you want a change. Can‘t highly enough recommand them for small spaces. The are just perfect! Samsungs 1ft f-series aren‘t avaible anywhere, and 1ft q-series are expensive.

I have switched the light cylce to 18-6 with the lights being off during the day, but even with the fans going the temp in the box is almost 90 degrees. Any one have any ideas on a mini A/C unit or something?

Yes! The pc fans (for the case, I guess?) don‘t have enough pressure! I use them inside my cab as ventilation, but not for exhaust.

And what‘s the temperature outside you cab? Your enviroment temp, the temperature of the air, going inside your cab :) if it‘s also really 90F, that a better exhaust fan wouldn‘t matter, and you need an AC unit.

So, how long do you have such temps? I think you‘ll need to make a break for the hottest 3-4 months of the year, or grow outdoor? Find a cooler spot in your house, like a cellar?
