Cree CXAs were going for 1.80 each. if you use quantum boards or generic chinese equivalent you could get PCB LEDs for under $1 a watt, probably 0.50 a watt ordering that many.

grandmaster level is in the process of switching to LEDs. he will be running an LED room vs an HPS room in his next season. check him out on youtube.

I'll have to check him out. What are the differences between the cobs and say the 10watters?
I've talked to a couple of guys using strictly LEDs and they said you still use about the same amount of watts to achieve the penetration as a hps bulb. Dont know if they were serious or not. I've got some LEDs but only enough for experimenting and wasnt impressed. First set was 3 watts and the next 5 watts. Foot print only as big as the light itself for flower.
For veg led is all I run. It's really nice for that replaced all the t5.
I've been running Solis Tek ballasts and hortilux bulbs been working great for flower. Will those cobs grow as dense buds?

1000umols per square meter if all other parameters are good, provides 1g of dried goods on average.

But here is some help for you.

300 sq ft + 15000w HID for flower = 12 lbs month.

Harvest 35ish sq ft for 3 pounds each week.

Ypu better get started. You have lots of work to do.
that's a shitload of trimming, nice avatar.

That avatar is a pic from my first 3lb crop in a 5x9 space. AK47... fantastic stuff! Huge yielder... now i can squeeze more out of that strain in the same space...

And ya... 40 hours of totally trimming time...all alone. Ive since trimmed the trimming time down a bit..hahahah

Quality herb? The pic you posted of your "stadium setup" was janky at best. What makes you think you can pull off a large size grow?

That was just fooling around with excess cuts I had this past summer. Didn't want to chunk em as my greenhouse was full. So I stuck em in their to see how they would do in summer heat with the air off.

This is how they reacted to temps over 110 with the lights on. Thought they would shut down but did not. Just didn't have as big of bud as I would have liked.

Love these haters. Keep coming.

I raised AK for about 5 years and it was some nice yielding plants but molded very easily. One year it was great and the next nothing but mold. Depended on humidity and how much rain I got. Ended up dropping it because of the weather not cooperating with that strain.

Well you shouldn't say anything since you got a link up begging for money. That tells me everything that I would ever want to know about you.
Ya... so i can fight for your right to smoke weed without fear of failing a piss test at work and getting fired. Human rights in the work place. You should contribute.

Oh wait...youre a big time grower selling shitty schwag you call weed to kids in school yards. I forgot.
