Looks like something splashed on it. Otherwise looks good, but some intervenial paling is starting from the looks of it.

So intervenial chlorosis is typically caused by nutrient defficiency or imbalance right? im using an all purpose 20-20-20 watwe soluable (jacks classic) and using 1/4 tsp to 1 gallon of water. the plant is 18 days old from sprout. from what i understand improper drainage can also cause this correct? it is in a DWC setup with approximately 3.5 inches of air space from bottom of my net pot to the water level, plenty of oxygen in the water.
Any suggestions to turning this around before it becomes a hindering issue?

Typically yes, that's what causes it. Im not familiar with hydro, so i cant help you on that aspect, but the fertilizer seems a bit strong, and more importantly the 1:1:1 ratio should start getting changed to something like a 3:1:2 shortly. Your fertilizer doesn't contain any sulfur, calcium and very little magnesium, which seems to be cause of the slight yellowing starting. Depending on your water source, you will likely need to add cal mag.

okay thank you very much, i am using well water with 187 ppm before nutes

Cal mag is on the way, Thanks again! ill try to give you an update on how it goes, hoping this plant does well, Eager to try this Cinex

Best of luck! I've never done hydro and have read very little about it, i can help with plant symptoms, but i wouldn't know how to properly correct it in hydro..meaning dosage rates. You're also going to need different nutes as it will be hard to grow properly with a 20-20-20 straight through.

I don't know anyone would say that plant looks good when it doesn't. Raise the water level closer to the bottom of the netpot. That fert is probably way too hot for this grow. Make sure you have enough air pumped into the water. A different fert would be a better choice, like Dynagro 7-9-5 for veg would be better. It's one teaspoon per gallon of water. You have it in a container that's too small and a grow box that's too small. Remember, plants grow. Those lights are too weak. Are you planning on switching to a different environment and container? Hope so. Use at least a 5 gallon bucket. It won't grow very large under weak indoor lighting, but if you put a sodium on it, it could grow to about 6 feet. You should plan on using a larger container but 5 gallon will suffice at least for a while.

i love jacks, its good stuff has all the trace minerals in it as well. if youre using that you shouldnt be getting any deficiencies. i add calmag and maybe thats the issue youre having if you dont add it, but the lighting is fine for now and you can use cfls all the way through you just have to add a few more i love em i also use hps lights as well and they are better but just depends how your setup is and if you can handle the heat and watts. water should be very close to the bottom of the net pot. your plant looks a very light green should be a little darker.

Who knows what is in it? Could be fracking chemicals for all we know. Buy distilled water for 88-cents a gallon or buy a reverse osmosis filter. That way you start at 0 PPM (or thereabouts) and know exactly what you have in your water.

i started using distilled water , i know there was a decent amount of iron in my well water. i also startes using N-Cal-Mag and my leaves are green again. now sitting at 195 ppm after my 20-20-20 javks classic water soluble nutrient solution and the cal mag1512425416382434490495.jpg

Thank you , it was in a starter container and grew faster than i have thought, finally got my tent setup and shes in a 5 gallon under 8 cfls. It is intented to be a cost efficient smaller grow as ill be putting 3-4 in one 36x36 tent

Do ypu reccomend a different water soluble jacks solution rather than the 20-20-20? i do have the blooming solution for flowering

I bought a reverse osmosis system off Amazon for $160. It gives me up to 50 gallons a day of near-distilled water (19 PPM). Great investment! No longer filling the trash with empty water jugs from WalMart.

i love cfls, they work wonders. i will say that when using them dont feed as heavy bc they wont be metabolizing as fast with cfls. and as far as changing i wouldnt until it hits week 2 or 3 of flower. then switch it to the flowering jacks. i have yet to try the flowering jacks only the blue so far for me i cant find it anywhere! lol i feed mine only 10 ml per galllon once a week did a 15 right before flip then havent added any since. i will also add that calmag is very important to buld up in the plant bc in flower itll b too late and two of my plants are on week like 5 and are showing signs of calmag def and it made me so mad haha i added a small dose see if it helps but i think theyre screwed hah

I have been addkng with the measuring cup it comes with , what would you say 10ml/gal would be in Tsp? lol Ive done a micro grow in the past with this jacks 20-20-20 @ 1/4tsp per gallon the whole grow and she smoked great but only got like a half off of it but that was in a computer tower

Heres an updated photo, got 2 more babies started aswell. How soon is too soon to take a clone off of Her? i Plan to take a clone and flower it young to test the sex without running the risk of putting her through the flowering process and not catching it in time to switch back, given im sometimes not home for 2 days at a time for work and running cfls i dont want to waste wattage on a male. (leaning because lst)
