wus up guys I have a serious issue I don't know what to do about it. I was about to harvest this weekend but I literally just noticed slight powdermildew infestation. It's not strictly confined to the leafs I don't think... it's not really bad yet and I didn't notice becuSe she wasn't showing any sign of it. It just looks like it just started... I have a couple of beautiful blueberries under 400w 75 degrees and runing 40%humidity right now... please god help me. Should I spray my lady with my powder mildew mixture I got use an just let her run long? Or should I just go ahead and crop. I just don't want to cut them down and it screw me and get worse...check my pics! It's not bad yet but it definely has started... I'm freaking and don't know what to do. So any advice any at all will be greatly appreciated! I'm not sure if u can really get a good look at it in the pics but that was the best I could get. Thanks !

Powdery mildew is NOT bud rot and likes different conditions to live.
Kill that plant ASAP.
P.M .likes living things.

Spray with 1 part lemon juice 2 parts water. It changes the PH on the leaves so the PM can't flourish. Do the H2O2 wash when you do harvest. Good luck.

^^^^^ I learned this from watching Weed Nerd videos on Sub's channel. Dave from the Garden of Weeden used a few cases of lemon juice on his Tunnel of Cheese.

Pm wash seems like its just water on ingredients but it is negative ion charged water.solectrocide ulta pure chlorine dioxide.

Chop soon, bud wash in h2o2. Once they're in cure jars you will know if the h2o2 worked if mold spreads or not. I've only done this once but it worked great for me. Made the buds look and taste better believe it or not. Look it up there tons of info on bud washing here and YouTube.

To low of humidity will cause powdery mildew don't worry pm wash is ionized wated ultra pure chlorine dioxide. Check it out or colloidal shield. Or doctorzyme

I've also used Cervante's H2O2 wash successfully. I agree with @macsnax the buds look and smell fantastic. The main drawback is the added wash/rinse/dry step but it's a small price to pay. PM spores are everywhere so clamping room humidity, providing lots of air circulation within the room and giving the plants room to breathe should help you avoid it in the future. Best of luck!

If you want to clean up afterward, you can use poisons or ozone. A big unit is about $200 to $400, or you can rent them per day. normally under $50 depending on size.
You jack the thing up, put the timer on for 8 hours and leave the room. The ozone will fuck up EVERYTHING in that room, even people. It will kill all smells too (great for preparing a drying room).
It is a good tool for the medium to large enterprise.

It will oxidize the crap out of all living organic tissue.

Too low RH causes PM? Naw man thats high RH.

"The spores are carried by air currents and germinate on the leaf surface. Liquid water on leaves inhibits spore germination. The fungus grows on the leaf surface but sends fine threads (haustoria) into the cells to obtain nutrients. From the time a spore germinates to the time new spores form may require only 48 hr. High humidity favors spore formation while low humidity favors spore dispersal."

Yes your right on RH. good article you found, but lets also think what plants get attacted by powdery first. 1 if it systemically has had problems. Ok . 2. weak plants, not healthy those back corner plants. Also under that sweet spot of RH transportation rate stoma opening and closings good ventilation the little breeze of a fan replicating nature. But it is funny that most books have that rang 40-60 RH. I have said every room is different and can only go from my experience. I personally run a little humid in veg. And slowly drop toward the end of flower.. its just what gives me the best results. Healthy plants accelerated growth max co2 absorption good VPD only have worked for me. I want to thank you for sharing link from psu it will help people. I think this article my also hope people on creating a stronger vascular system thicker cell wall that won't allow a mold spore to germinate.

VPD can be fine in a 70%RH room if temps are high. 70% RH in a 70F room is bad news. 70% RH high 80s low 90s is fine.

The dude grow show had a rep from this Company you can spray all your equipment all the walls down and wipe that off it will kill all mold spores that are on surfaces. To clean the air there's things like UV-C light that kills 99.9% of airborne mold spores viruses go to germanguardian.com everyone we know uses UVC lights inside of their scrubbers hospitals use UVC light.

Yes Good on an indoor grow your plants don't do very well after 85° side degrees when you're controlling the environment so call playing God maybe an outdoor that makes a lot more sense not inside

If you like growth rate to slow down when it hits about 85 90° I agree with you a higher relative humidity would definitely be the way to go to only way to go to save your points they would need that moisture before the leaf becomes crispy
