You think thats better then going to get another job, and making tons of money some place else?
Making tons of money somewhere else? Im up for that... but where? How?

Job market in Alberta's pretty rough. If I sell my house now then take a big loss... that's how bad the market is here.

Could put a few more lights up in my basement maybe...lol

I dunno...

The oil patch is starting to come back but it's still unpredictable, 2015 can suck these balls, it'll take me a few good years to bounce back from that one. Relocation is not going to come without a loss. I feel bad for you. I was fired once because another employee left his hash pipe in the glove box of a unit I was operating. It was found on my days off and I didn't rat when the boss called to ask if it was mine. Luckily the patch was busy so I got a new job the next day. If that happened now I'd be fucked.

think I'm going to just ride this out all the way. There is going to be a settlement at some point, according to HRC. There will be back pay and damages. If I get another job in the meantime and the salary is less then what I made before then the back pay will be reduced to just a top up to what I would have made. So... I'll go find a job for 10-15 bucks an hour and supplement that in other ways... just get by for the next few months or a year.

I mean.... i really dont have anything to lose.

They are are going to lose... and pay dearly for it even if i have to borrow money to wait them out. Im fuckin mad now...

Ill go trim nugs for the big LP here at the airport...Aurora Cannabis...hahahabah

I can't imagine Aurora hires cannabis users lol
But I dunno maybe
Hahahahahahahahahah.... you're probably right. They likely have pre-employment testing too. Seems ironic, but... given the scale of their operation and security requirements and the licensing and the money invested on and on... they probably are afraid to hire even medical users because of the liability issues...

know these fools indirectly... and you guys are wondering? hahahahahahha
There's no wonder..They have no clue what they are doing..
that is the ONLY guarantee! :weed:
You know the execs indirectly? Or the growers?

Just curious... what do you know about them?

Most if not all of the LP's have no issues hiring users.

@Gquebed

Did you report your medical use to your employer before you were piss tested? Sorry I didn’t read a lot of the thread as it is ten times longer for me to scroll through the millions of moderated posts lol. I had something similar happen at my workplace is all, I manage an oilfield service company in Alberta.

Yes i did. On the way to the clinic.

Our company policy states that I must report any symptoms of any prescription medication to them if I feel that they will interfere with my job. That's all our policy states about all of this. I wasn't medicated on the job so I obviously wasn't feeling any symptoms to report so.... there was nothing to report...

The only reason I told them was because I knew I was going to fail. None of this is any of their business. Until they put it in their policy and make it their business, which is what most corporations are doing now especially in the oil field in sensitive safety positions.

sensitive safety positions.
You are not in a 'safety sensitive' position or industry and they cannot , legally, even HINT at what you can do on your own time. If they were trying to get rid of you, or trying to set an example, the only avenue available to them to was to prove impairment. A positive test for THC just doesn't do that...something that they failed to consider before issuing your suspension. This is a slam dunk win. I had a couple of other thoughts...I'll pm you.
