I'm going to attempt forcing a female to push out pollen sacks with silver ointment.

I have a few cuttings rooted and have no space to do anything with them.
Purchasing/making colloidal silver is a pain in the rear. There's also the Tersias Mist stuff but who wants that in their Amazon history?

So I did some browsing and Curad has an ointment and one of the active ingredients is silver and it's at 55ppm. That's right about at the sweet spot for forcing a female to push off pollen sacks.
The kicker is that the stuff is sold over the counter at just about every drug store in the US. 7-8 bucks for a half ounce tube. Convenient right?
The cutting is in veg but very small atm. It's a backup of a mom just in case anything goes south with the mom. I chop it down every 10 days or so to keep it small. I'm going to wait a week or so to get this party started on it considering I chopped it down just a few days ago. Let it get a couple inches of growth.

I'm guessing you spray budsites and whatnot with TMist and Silver. So I should probably just rub this stuff on the budsites.
Now should I start applying this stuff as soon as I chuck her in the flowering room or wait a week into 12/12? Or start beforehand? Maybe start hitting it the day I toss it in the flower chamber?
I know Mist and Silver tend to jack plants up a bit and I'd like to get a good weeks growth out of them before I start as a safety measure considering the size of the cutting in question. It's only rocking 2-3 nodes and an inch high atm.
I had mentioned possibly doing this in @vostok thread here

So hopefully this will work at it'll be a convenient alternative.

I wouldn't use that stuff. It's an ointment to be used on the skin not a spray for plants. It also has a bunch of other stuff in it besides silver.
Active Ingredient: Silver Chloride 0.0055% (55ppm) Inactive Ingredients: Carbomer, Glycerin, Silver Nitrate, Sodium Chloride, Triethanolamine, Water.

You should take a look at this proven method for reversing sex on female plants. I use this method and have a 100% success rate reversing sex.
https://www.rollitup.org/t/applying-silver-nitrate-sodium-thiosulfate-mixture-for-fem-pollen.937161/
Here is a post of mine from that thread.
I use the same formula that you list except in larger amounts. I got the formula from a different site.

0.5 grams Silver Nitrate + 500ml H2O
2.5 grams sodium thiosulfate (anhydrous) + 500 ml H2O
Mix those and then mix together to form solution
Then 1 part solution to 9 parts water.

I got 1/4 lb of sodium thiosulfate on Amazon for $5.99 and 25 grams of silver nitrate for $28. That will last a long time but I think I'll start mixing smaller batches since I end up dumping what I don't use.
I like this formula over the collodial silver method because you don't have to spray everyday. One application and then 12/12.

You really need to spray this on until it's dripping off. I let it dry and spray a second time. Put in 12/12 and wait.
Be careful with the silver nitrate as it will stain. Especially make sure you don't get it on a white counter top unless you want purple stains.
Just put some newspaper down and spray over that.

I would spray the whole plant. What I do is grow a rooted clone out for a couple weeks and use that. Harvest the pollen and toss the rest of the plant.
Here is a picture of one that's had it's sex reversed using this method showing male pollen sacks after a couple weeks. It was really small but you only need a little pollen because it goes a long way.

Nano silver or cs as its known is super easy to make. A cell phone charger and a piece of jewellers wire off amazon for 5 bucks and good to go.

Its how I make it.

If you want a cheap over the counter spray just crunch some aspirin up and mix with water and spray the flowers daily.

colodial silver, works everytime, why go crazy scientist?

I dedicate 1 plant to feminized seed production. Start this 3ish days before you intend to flip to flower. I spray only one side branch (label it clearly) with 30ppm colodial silver out of a tiny misting bottle, hitting each budsite growth on that branch, for 10 days (3 days before flip, 7 after). After you flip to flower within a month the sprayed area will have pollen sacs, watch them closely for when they are swollen/dangling/ready to break open

Personaly I avoid collecting the pollen and having to use a brush to apply it to other areas. I use a simpler way. Tip the plant so that the sacs are at the top (plant goes nearly sideways) and simply tap the pollen branch, it should be an obvious dusting of pollen coming out, it takes very little to pollenate the entire plant. When your satisfied youve tapped most of the viable pollen, put the plant back under the light to finish, (I also go as far as to cut the pollen sac branch off, not sure if necessary, I just want it out of there) youll have hundreds of seeds in a little over a month if this plant is a foot or taller.

I'm just doing this as an experiment. Nothing serious really.
As far as the Aspirin thing goes according to a poster in Vostok's old thread all of the seeds produced were sterile ????
Now I don't know if that's a consistent result or not. Please do correct me if I'm wrong here on this.
The only thing I'll do is collect the pollen to use at a later date and keep whatever beans I can get off from said clone. Might grow a big girl out of another cut next spring and fill a mason jar with some S1s.
I'm not planning on smoking the small amount of bud that's for sure.
She's just a backup of one of my favorites. (I have more)
