Lol I was wondering what you meant with gen. But now I se. Where did the first generation come from?
honestly a pond....did a gorilla grow, very large one...had to split it with the farmer of which who's property allowed me to use....

i call the "gen" simply because i don't have any breeding info on the seeds i have, and i have alot of seeds that people give me or i collect from people...usual run are 2 to 3 currently....the gorilla i did, was a 10 plant

That's bad ass bro. I always order new strains from midweek song or seedaman atleast till I fined a true keeper. But I've been looking for a good place to try a gorilla grow. I've got several local rivers I'm gonna start kayaking down and hopefully fined a good spot

i haven't ordered seeds at all. Would love too at one time. Cause i have found some nice breeds i would enjoy creating.

yeah gotta watch for gorilla grows these days, lots of eyes in the skies so to speak, one of the main reasons why i pulled indoors, still do a few around the house as i can hide them, but mostly indoors now, had to learn how to do it, the most inexpensive as i could considering money flow

you can barely see the second one, but i think it came back to life, they both get inspection and watering tonight.

I've never had or heard of outdoor issues. Given most of my outdoor growing is around Midland-odessa
And Austin area through Bastrop hutto to Georgetown.

Had plenty get ripped tho ha. Personally I wouldn't worry about overhead. Unless maybe you just clear some trees in the woods and get a lil field going. Spread em out a bit.

But ya. I was growing my indoor bud somewhere between .29 and $.38 a gram. Or roughly $10 zips. How can you justify selling that zip for even $150 . I sold wholesale and I'm sure they marked up.

Someone asked me what sativas for lonestar folk.
Imo if you want a great saty your gonna have to just grow out a lot of mex Reggie. Most great strains have Mex or southamerican in them. All sour strains originated with the Mex sour.for example.

There's good shit.

The breeders have all watered em down too much. If you have to go with a breeder sat. Get a 14week plus. And try stay away from hazes.

Also . to that guy.. lol
you don't have to use the traditional growing season. I usually grew year round. I'd recommend no later than a Halloween germ if your northern tx. But like 2011 we had a couple inches of snow early November and seedlings survived.

Longest day of the year here exactly 14hrs. Keep that in mind

I say in past tense , moved up to Wichita falls for a bit and haven't grown since the move. Almost a year of no grow :/
But coming soon, got second apt setting up. Slowly but surely

Sativa's are bitching in the lonestar. Think i have a picture i did of one in a 4 pot grow i did. Very tall plant in general, skinny leaf sets, the smell will put ya into la la land....

the first picture that was one of them, grew 4, planted them in the back of some property i had access to. This was last year.

current ones finally coming back to life, phew, still got a long way to go though. New leafs on the first one i think, the other has added more green to its little leaf......keep your fingers crossed..lol

Cause "haze" has Thai Indian s.a basically a sat from each region and muddled together and worked
Amnesia haze-84 days
Nevils haze-74 daya
Super lemon haze-64

Just as random examples. Where a real sat from Mexico or s.a depending gonna be around 100-130 days.

There are some great strains I really love slh. but if your used to the high of a landrace sat that's also suited for extreme temps those aren't them.

Even strains like gage green Colombian gold hits 114 days supposedly. Real Columbian strains have ran me 20-26weeks and don't look the same. However that's still within the window of a good sat so...

Tend to always do when i gorilla. Current with these 101 temps, growing even seedlings outside is a bitch.

my usual outdoor romps are south texas, uvalde to the borders and along the coastal plains, other than that, keep things more close to home.
