They have been in flower for about 11 days and they all have shown sex and I am 80% sure of the sex of all of them.

Traits I have noticed is that the standard male really really likes to stretch, I assume it is a shade thing, if they sense any plant near them they will stretch to over 6 inches between nodes. With the exception of one, number 4 . Number 4 did have a little damage to its main growth node but I wouldn't think it would be enough to stop stretching at all. I will flower another at a later date for sure.

On the lady side I had one big surprise the tallest fastest growing plant who's next gen of clones are showing the same trait , you would swear it was male is a lady, number 2.

All else are pretty consistent I got 6 ladies and 5 gents so a great mix.

Just some thoughts about this Gorilla Bubble and what I am going to have to do if I plan on growing it as a main crop.
Normally I have grown single cola plants the last few years. At least a month maybe more in veg and grow concentrating on a single cola.
I don't think I will be able to do this with the GB, it just grows too damn fast. My GBs are13 days old from rooted clone, they are 13 days in flower one is 16 inches tall and the others are all 10-14 inches already.
I think these will be some monster growing plants if I veg them at all, so I am considering what I would do to scog them and how that would have to work for me.
Problem but maybe a great problem.

I am 100% on the plants sex now I got 6 ladies and 5 gents, so all the gents have been culled back to 2 plants each now.

With my most recent pull of clones I was concerned at first that I might have that low branches don't root well problem I have read about, but other then one pheno all have at least one of 2 clones root. Also for what ever reason this wasn't my most stellar clone run in recent memory as I am at about 65% success . Normally I am at 80% at 12 days and 98% at 15 days, so the Hempstars aren't doing well either. However the clones that have rooted are happy and healthy.

Over in the flower room they are looking good at day 17 with their little top clovers. They are all looking similar other than good old number 2 , who is taller and a couple of days behind in clover formation. The girls show no deficiencies, they are happy. They are a lighter green then my hempstar.

So these 6 plant in the front with the blue clips at their bases are the six female GB's . They were all put into flower when they showed roots as clones. So they are literally 18 days old and 18 days into flower. the hempstars around them have been in veg for a month to a month and a half Number 2 is taller then all but the biggest of hempstars, and number 5 is about average height in the room.20170812_104813.jpg 20170812_104830.jpg

So far this strain is SOOO less finicky. I would almost say it is easy to grow

It is day 35 of flower for those clones I put straight into flower. I want to show off some off these plant characteristics. First and foremost is Plant I affectionately call Number 2. It is huge 33 inches tall and a little behind in the bud department. A comparison to my normal canopy of Hempstar at 22 inches.

Then there is number 9, one that is very interesting when it comes to Tric production also a good plant for size more around 22 inches. It is fantastic how quick these plants get big. I grow my Stars for 1.5 months to get them there. Notice that there are resin gland all the way up some fan leaves stems and forming on the palm of fan leaves, I first notices this about 12 days ago. THis is going to be some extremely sticky bud if it keep on course like this.

Day 47 of the test clones 9 days to go. I Am overall really really pleased with Tony's work. I definitely will end up with a few keepers. If not mostly keepers . My problem will be which one to pick I think. But there is lots of time to sort that out. no rush at all I figure I will still be deciding even in Nov, Dec. One reason I don't like growing from beans , for me it takes sooooo long to give ever plant its time in the sun and its time to shine before I make the final decision.

Starting off with plant number 2 . I am fond of this plant mostly because of how big it gets quick, all of number 2 have gotten way bigger then all of her sisters in all cases so far.
She clones easy and is mid pack visually with the tri's.
She seems to lag in flower a few days behind the others
She may not the best plant but I already have plans to use her around the edges of my room to eat up all the stray photons.
She will be my garbage queen

Moving on to number 3
Looks pretty good considering she lives in the shadow of her big sister
Tri's are middle of the road, when I say middle of the road I am referring to these six plants only disjointed from all other plants
Middle of the road crystal is pretty good for a shadow dweller
She will get many more kicks at the can to prove herself
She clones well

Number 5
Above average for crystal
I have thoughts that it leans closer to the size of number 2 then the others, but this isn't 100% yet
This one had good light and responded well
She is however the worst cloner of the bunch, ever run of clones nearly 80% the other clones are rooted before 80% OF THE 5'S get going. This has happened ever clone run so far
This is a big strike against her. Not fatal but not good. At 14 days of clones she still is good for 90% just the others are sooooo good

Number 6
so far the loser of the bunch
She clones great
She has different leaves and the worst crystal production by far
She is in the shadow a bit of the plants around her but I would have thought she would do better
I will say if anyone is riding the bubble it is number 6

Lastly and leastly number 11

This is the runt of the litter
She clones great
but seems to grow a little slow and more wide, I guess i should get into spear vs bush tendencies at one point. A later batch
Small but running maybe in second for tri's so its not all bad
This was the ugly seed in the pack, last to germinate still lagging on growth

First test batch is cut trimmed dried and bagged. After 15 minutes of curing me and the misses opted to do some testing. First off just judging by looks and smell I got alot of fire in my batch. Only 2 were obviously lesser looking buds . Not that that counts yet.

Wife loved the smell of number 5 , which is also fantastic looking. Number 9 has some peers.
She liked it because it has some spearmint qualities.

Rolled a joint, both had a puff or 2 and HOLY FUCK.

Super lung expansive, totally activated the bronchials, started breathing really really deep and slow
Smoke was good but a little burn on the throat. Might be better after I let it cure another 15 min
Stone was really strong but not over whelming or intimidating like some other fire strains
Did not give me munchies or affect my appetite more then normal. I was about to eat some baked cookies anyway and I only ate a normal amount
, or make me more sleepy then normal. The Misses slept better.
But , what it did do was like the strongest high quality muscle relaxant I ever took. I felt relaxed in the face then the back and legs. All my sore pain and strains from early season hockey were gone. It wasn't couch lock I could still be active but I was sooooooo relaxed. Very like an edable
IT was moderately euphoric and watching jarhead was awesome.
It felt like we could totally get our shit together and deal if we had too but would rather not and just enjoy the high
It was a long ass stone too we smoked around 7 and I was still feeling it strong at midnight and still at 5 am.
Next day no burn out or bad feeling considering how strongly we felt medicated.

Wife is of the opinion that we have something fantastic and amazing in our hands.

God Damn Tony Green nice fucking work man!!!!

So this is test one of pheno Number 5, we got a long way to go.
