hello, I am about to end my first grow in 4-5 weeks. I think I'll try a SOG grow the next round.

Anyone following a SOG journal that you'd recommend? I'll be using coconut coir.

Thanks

in veg weave every new chute into a new hole in your screen until all holes are filled, then skirt under the screen, and flower, otherwise its just a fancy plant support net.....have a blast!

Sounds like a plan, idk why it felt more complicated when reading about it.. :)

you can complicate it of course, like pinching each lower meristem as it appears to encourage more to chute up through the screen holes. dont pinch the last ones used for each cola growth. I like to keep them at the same height, which requires me to top some occasionally, no biggy though

Look scrog is a screen of green, sog is a sea of green with at least 4 single colas/pots per square foot. not a single plant spread out in a screen.
Guys I don't even smoke marijuana anymore. Are you reading my posts? I have 10 plants, no screen?20170809_220006.jpg
I am not trying to claim I have a full tent sog. But I have no training no topping on these 10. 1 week veg 2 gal pots

Read the original post, and google sog. Then ill accept your apology for being a douche.
Sea of Green, or SOG, is a way of growing cannabis that forces the plants into the flowering stage when young and small. By starting the flowering phase of your marijuana plants after about two weeks of vegetative growth you can harvest many weeks earlier than you would if you grew your plants to full size.
