Republicans Don't Care if Trump Shoots Someone on Fifth Ave

like the ones who sat at home calling her "shillary" while donor class establishment corporatist shills like me volunteered hundreds of hours to call and canvass democratic voters?
You failed to mention many other groups, including those who didn't bother to be involved at all until the threat of The Donald inspired them to get motivated.

There were a lot of people who were so turned off by the antics of people like you on both sides that they simply didn't participate at all.

An investigation, does not a criminal make..wouldn't you agree?
it's hilarious that tty liked this post.

tty, 3 posts ago: "you can't prove that they aren't corrupt, so we must assume they are corrupt!"

tty, now: "just because there is a criminal FBI investigation and grand juries are being empaneled doesn't mean bernie is corrupt"

First; only some of Sanders supporters consider themselves Democrats. An increasing number of us do not.

Second; even 11% is a significant fraction.
And 9% of Republican crossed over too. It happens in every election. Numerically 11% is significant. As is 9%. You somehow think this is an indictment against the Democratic Party. I don't see how this kind of election noise proves that.

What you don't mention is that Clinton won the popular vote and lost the EC in a few key states by really small margins. Some districts that traditionally voted Democrat went to Republican. Once we get down to the nitty gritty, your sweeping "democrats left the party in significant numbers to vote for Trump" becomes overblown. Again.

As far as "berners don't consider themselves Democrats", start your third party, already.

That's fine, think what you want about me. It's funny though, that you never call out your fellow Berntards when they make extremely offensive bigoted remarks.
For sure.
And it's odd that he refuses to call them out.
Good people call out bigots and racists.
Gotta say, tty does not appear to be one of those people.
Oh well.
Tty just seems to have a soft spot for bigots.

Derp.

Another wild misrepresentation masquerading as a debate point.

You can't debate honestly, it's too much work for you.

No, I just insult people like you who have to shit post and name call instead of doing the work to come up with solid arguments.
You spent three days ignoring my arguments (which at the time were completely devoid of any such insults or disrespect, because I was hoping to preserve a calm camaraderie with you) and your responses were to ignore the arguments are focus on name-calling and insults.

Now I just explicate your arguments and then insult you while you still ignore arguments and opt instead to insult. You have nothing but ridiculous "naked capitalism" links.

no, you literally just took these two views.

you told fogdog that he has no proof that his representatives aren't corrupt. you're asking him to prove a negative there, which is stupid, and claiming people who aren't being investigated for anything are corrupt.

then you defended bernie, even though he is under criminal FBI investigation for bank fraud and grand juries are being empaneled.

it's breath taking how shameless and stupid you are.

Wait a minute. What he said is true. One minute you said my congressmen were corrupt because I can't prove otherwise (as if). The next you are saying that the Grand Jury Investigation against Bernie doesn't mean he's not innocent. I don't get it.

UB is stretching the truth to show the weakness of your positions.

Try as you like, you can't make Pelosi's words come out as "don't support universal healthcare". She never said that or anything like it. If you want to dismiss what she said, and just say what you think, that's your right. Everybody has the right to be wrong.

Is your issue that Pelosi doesn't support putting single payer in the 2018 platform? OK. That would be true. She says she's made no decisions about the 2020 platform.

Q: Do you feel like the move for Democrats now is to make single payer a plank in the 2018 platform?

Leader Pelosi. No, I don’t. I was carrying around single payer signs probably before you were born. So, you know, I understand that aspiration. But when we passed our bill, while we didn’t get public option, which if I were jamming the bill, as I’m accused of doing, we would’ve had, we won it in the House, we couldn’t get it in the Senate, we mitigated for many of the provisions that were there.

So I say to people, if you want that, do it in your States. States are laboratories. It can work out. It is the least expensive, least administrative way to go about this, but the comfort level with a broader base of the American people is not there yet. It doesn’t mean it couldn’t be. States are a good place to start.

But I’m not here today to write the Democratic platform for 3‑1/2 years from now. But I thank you for your question, as I say, as one who was in the streets with single payer over 30 years ago.
You interpret her statement in the fashion you think best and I will do the same.

That we don't end up at the same conclusion is called freedom of thought.

I respect your opinion but I simply don't agree with your conclusion. No amount of argument on your part will convince me I'm 'wrong', because SHE ISN'T SUPPORTING UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE, and said so in so many words. She can use any justification she thinks will fool the most people. It is your inalienable Right as an American to be one of them.

That extremely small margin of victory is exactly why the number of crossover voters is significant.

I haven't seen any numbers but I suspect that the number of Democrats crossing over in The last presidential election is larger than any other.
