Gonna have to get me some of that screen. The finest I have is 180micron. OK for mixing with honey oil to make hash but sure as hell not full-melt bubble. :)
40 grams hot damn!

I really like these screens. I made a little mirror frame to stack the screens in. I have a 250 micron for breaking up and working the buds on, what falls through there gets worked over on a 140 micron and drops onto the 74 micron and I run the parchment wrapped DVD over that and brush what it picks up into its own pile. and below that screen is a 55ish micron I do the same with, and keep them in separate jar stashes. Some may say that's unnecessary but whatever it's what I want to do. =)

before/after.

It's pretty much full melt - nice bubbly burn. just leaves a little thin film of black sticky after the end of the burn in a banger. I may need to go another round of the parchment separation to get a little more cleaner.

but that will be for another time. I'm happy with how is for the moment.

That ball ended up being over 50g. I was still too sticky so I kept working more kief into it until it was just like I wanted it.

I think I'll be getting some of those screens already in their frames and rig up a shaker unit for them. Bunch of plastic washers to slide around on each screen to work the material a bit. I have some lab screens for testing tungsten carbide particles but they are a lot more money and only 8" in diameter so takes a long time to do a lot of trim.

Those wouldn't be bad if I got the shaker unit for them. Can stack 7 or 8 and let 'er rip.

Endecotts woven wire screens.

I saw that then went looking for Canadian sellers and there's lots. About $30 each all framed up nice and I'll need 3 or 4.

Something else to add to my shopping list. :)
I know I'm like 2 years and a half late but... I really need those 90mesh, 110 mesh and 200 mesh aluminium frames, I've ended up on goldupusa but their customer service replied to me saying they dont ship to canada...

Is there a way that by some chance you still know a link for me to get these.. I swear I used every search terms I could imagine without success please help a canadian brother out making some dry sift :p

I thought I had some bookmarks but look up silk screening supplies canada. I know I found a few with one out Vancouver way that sold the screens in various materials like monofilament, aluminum and stainless steel. In frames or cut to size.

Check Amazon.ca for it. Had to order a new battery for my cell phone last week. The 2 yo one was swelling up so bad it was cracking the armor case at the back. New one works great to and is 4100mAh instead of the stock 3200. $25 so I ordered the multimeter along with it that I wanted that will test the capacitors in my mag ballasts. Only $36.

:peace:
