So here goes,

I've completed a few grows now with mixed results, so I have decided to start a journal to keep track of what I'm up to.

So I have a 4x4 for flower, 3x3 for veg, and a 2x2 for seedlings and cuttings. In the 4x4 I have the 315w cmh dual spectrum a 5 inch filter and exhaust fan. The 3x3 will have a 315w cmh dual spectrum when I get round to going to the shop again, and the 2x2 will have my blurple led fixture which works wonders for my cuttings.

Now on to the good stuff,

I have 5 chocolate kush plants from seed vegging away 3 of the 5 have been topped once so far and just started a low dose of feed.

My mystery strain, I received a mixed pack of seeds and kept this plant out of them all, I have no clue what it is, so I took cuttings and flowered them, still with no clue, there's hardly any smell during veg a flower which is a bonus for me, but smells like fuck when it's chopped, so I took more cuttings and kept it going, so I have 4 of these in the tent as well.

The grapefruit, I got a couple cuttings around a week ago from a friend they came in peat pellets so I have given them a small pot to live in for now, I did a little research into them and came across cindy 99 being grapefuits parents (anyone know the truth), so they've just started growing after settling in, looking forward to seeing these go all the way!

Hello again, things have changed in the grow tent, I now have the easier water system in, trays in, scrog screen in. So we're getting somewhere. I have picked 2 choco kush, 2 mystery plants and 1 c99/grapefruit, to run this round I know I'm not going to get as much as I could but just having 3 different strains to smoke in a few months is a win win for me. Here's a few pictures.

Still training away bending and tying as we go, I decided to pull the screen out as it was pretty pointless just yet don't know if I'll add it back in or not, the choco kush I topped is getting wider by the day, I'll be fim/topping that one a couple more times, the other is doing very well untouched, I bent the grapefruit/c99 over and tied her to her pot, she has bounced back lovely and is starting to look like a plant instead of a twig lol and my mystery plants are getting better too, here's some pictures of the last few days.20170508_083642.jpg 20170508_083618.jpg

I've just potted the 2 choco kush up into 20L pots using charged coco and natural with a bit of bonemeal added in for good roots. Will go back to them in a hour or so and water them in. Have left the 2 mystery plants in the 12L pots. Will check in later.

Think he is mate. Same as me. What experience you had with coco. What can we both expect?
You'll want to keep that coco constantly wet. Meaning never let that too later dry out. You don't have to pour a ton of water to make sure that happens. Once you find the sweet spot you can water it normally and only need 10% run off maybe once a week to leach the salts out.

Once the coco dries out growth slows down noticeably.

Low PPm / EC feedings is a good way of not running into issues in coco. I feed 2x a week and water with just calmag 1x a week.

I water them once when the light goes on and 30mins before lights cut off.

I never go past 700ppms usually unless it's a heavy feeder.

Anyother question just holler. I'm not A pro but I have made enough mistakes to know what NOT to do lol.

Any questions I would have had you just answered them mate nice one. You just earned yourself a follower. If I get stuck at any point I'll definitely take you up on that. Cheers bro

Cut the coco with perlite next time. 100% coco is not ideal
I added some eco thrive coco the £16.50 a bag stuff into them and bonemeal. My first run I used of elite and I didn't like the look of it in my pots, when the how hit it it turned orange then brown so haven't used it since but I know it's benefits. Thanks for stopping by Eddie top man!

Might be worth adding I have removed the c99 from the tent I didn't think she was big enough to get a good enough yeild, and I flipped to flower yesterday afternoon so last night was their first night/day of flower. I'm not in this crop for a massive yeild just to put bud back in my bucket, worked it out I chop a week before the kids break up from school. WIN WIN

Last few weeks I've been feeding every other day they've been getting 1 litre for a while now if I put 100ml more they'll piss their pants, when I'm in 20L pots 2 and half litres of feed fills the pot any over that and again they'll piss their pants. I feed to run off once a the beginning of the week and once at the end depends how they look, thanks for the advice mate! Maybe a few other will read it and it'll help them too.
