Have 4 Chem 91 Going. 2 runts, and 2 med size so far. Don't know if they are male or female yet. Picky little bastards they are! They were pretty much right on with the description of these plants. Vegged about 70 days. They did best at 6.0 on PH. They let me know too! Had to keep nute's real low. I bumped them up to about 290 PPM after a month from 225 PPM and they could not handle it at all. Dumped the buckets. Just did the 12/12 flip yesterday.After these pics I bumped them up to 350 PPM. Why did I do that! :wall: Just checked today. Burned like a bitch. Dump the buckets! More is definetly not better with this strain.
Would like to hear some input on this strain from someone that has grown them.
Growing,smell, flavor, potency, pics. Thanks! :peace:DSC00096.JPG

I've heard nothing but great things about the ISP Insane Chem.I hear it's too potent for some.I'm trying to choose between the Chem91 and CV Irene S1.Good luck!
The Irene S1 is great smoke I kept it over the Rudeboi cross from Archive. I also have the Insane Chem 91 in flower & it's stupid frosty!! Didn't give them a long veg so I wont have much to smoke even more so since it's seeded from a Jamaican landrace male. I'm defiantly going to keep the Chem 91 around for another run.

Also @Flash63 has posted some amazing pictures of the Insane Chem 91 I believe in a thread called purest chem from seed, something like that.

Like their gear! Just finished a round of their Chem D BX-3, had 5 females from 8 beans. All were fantastic, but a little nutrient fussy also. The final one is ready to come down in the next few days, looks and smells to be the best of the litter. Have done their Orange Diesel as well which was also good. Have a pack of their '91 that I'm looking forward to in the fall. Will be monitoring your progress littlegiant....good luck to you pal, don't think you'll be disappointed, have heard it's bangin' gear!

Peace

What smells did you get from orange diesel and more importantly, how was the taste? All their gear intrigues me tbh,I really want to know how their cantaloupe skunk taste.

The smell and taste of the Orange Diesel was just that...orange and diesel! Had one pheno that produced some of the best orange and unique flavoured herb that I ever tasted. My missus's all time favourite. Unfortunately I don't have any pics, never had a camera for that round. Have some pics of the BX-3 though...

Something doesn't add up . . . How are you measuring your ppm? No way in hell should they be getting nutrient burn from that low of ppm.

@littlegiant I also think something is up with your TDS pen. I've run the Chem D bx3, 91 bx2, and IC91 and they all were eating 250 to 350 ppm at 4 to 6 inches, and not missing a beat. Ran them, 500 plus after 5th or 6th node, and on up to 650 to 750 ppm in late veg and all through flowering. I was in soil, coco, and later some soil, coco, and perlite mixed. Ran the Chem D bx3, and 91 bx2 in all three on seperate occasions. Only ran the IC91 in coco. They all finished trich'd up, and thick. All were potent. The IC91 is almost too potent for me. Definetly money well spent, and consistent quality.

@BudMan'10 Beautiful plant man.

There pumped up now to 400PPM now and looking good. Im stumped too on what happened, maybe I was a little too freaked out on it! Never had this happen also. Don't know why they did not handle it at first. I have a Bluelabs Combo meter and recently calibrated it. I have had this combo meter about 4 years too.
