If anybody remembers the ISO 2, the new version will be coming out this month. If you contact them now you may be able to get a $200 coupon off the $495 price for being willing to review and generally inform them of your findings while using. I didn't have an ISO 2, but am excited about this new version. The machine is versatile- medications are just one of the products.

Sweet machine! Thanks for the head's up Joker.

Another pricey item to put on my wish list. I've had his book, Cannabis Alchemy, for over 30 years and devised my own extraction methods from some of it. Over a period of time that gizmo would pay for itself by being able to reclaim your solvents. I do that now with a still I built that will do a gallon at a time but doesn't look near as cool as the ISO3.

This looks absolutely brilliant. So does this mean you do not need any nasty solvents?

They use ISO so it's a bit nasty. Have you checked out Magic Butter machines? Can make budder or cocobudder, tinctures and a few other things I think. Easy enough to do it on your own but it's automatic. Just load it up, set the controls and it does all the mixing and cooking for you.

They don't use ISO, they use vodka or Everclear. There's nothing special you can use the MBM for that your can't do with a jar and a crockpot.

I have fancied one of those for a while now. I have nothing against Everclear, but I am not going to make cannabis oil until I have enough trim and flower to make 2 ounces or more. My slow cooker makes good cannabutter but I think the MB machine will make it that much easier.

It makes it easier for sure but what price convenience? I'm using a crock pot to make my cocobudder. 50g of bud/trim to a liter of coconut oil for a 20:1 mix. No water used and a tsp gives a nice buzz. Tastes great right off the spoon or smeared on a cookie. Doesn't go rancid like butter and is safe for vegans. I heat it to 260F so that the pot decarbs right in the oil and all the terpenes are saved rather than stinking up the house like when pot gets baked in the oven.

Everytime I get EverClear to make stuff I end up on a 3 day bender, lol, so I use butane or naphtha to make BHO and ISO to make RSO. Personally I think the cocobudder is as good as RSO for medicinal purposes and much easier to make and consume. I'm in the market for a heated magnetic stirrer to make the cocobudder so I'd have the convenience of digital temperature control and constant stirring but can make up to 3 liters at a time in the crock pot so it's not something I really have to have.
