Using the sea of green method and flowering plants when about 7" - 9" should result in the plant being how tall?

Think I can keep these plants under 20" ?

yes. plants will double in height. a good height to start flowering for sea of green is 6-10 inches depending on space.

Just trying to decide if I need to get some dward/autoflowering seeds, or if i can use a normal seed and just do sea of green

get normal seeds. its up to you in the end obviously but im not a fan of the dwarf plants. they lack the punch of some of the others. but to each their own.

yeah, how much yield difference are we talking about? also, how much of a duration of time are we reducing in the time of planting to harvest when beginning flowering stage so early?

the flowering time is the same. in a sea of green you can veg for say 2 - 4 weeks and then flower for 8 - 10 depending on strain.

Sea of Green involves the use of clones not seeds. Plants from seed must reach sexual maturity (pre-flowers) before flowering should occur. FYI
