Hello all, alot of you may remember me. I'm the dumbass who thought he could grow like a veteran, well I can't and didn't, in fact it didnt even make it past week 5 of flower.
That being said i took the advice of many and sealed the room off as tight as possible! It wasn't too expensive, i spent more on gorilla tape then plastic. I cleaned everything, broke down all my equipment, got rid of all the grow pots and any medium I had left from that grow. I've started with seeds not clones, so far out of 8 white cookie seeds from CK 6 took off. I had gotten 12 seeds all together but I sold 4 to a buddy and all 4 took off for him. Anyway PM will be hard pressed to get to them this time. I re-cleaned after installing the plastic, the floor still gets dirty but I can't stop that unless i take off my shoes before I go in. Since I live in a cold hard winter hitting state the Chances of me taking even a shoe off is highly unlikely.
Here are some pics of the new set up any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
I will do my best to update as often as I can, happy growing to all and may all smoke the kind!!

Room looks almost surgical lol you figured out what caused the PM last time ??
Done anything that would change the airflow/temp/humidity since last run ?

Definitely look like your on the ball this time though , fingers crossed this is the dream crop you've been waiting for :)

Thanks, that was what I was working on before the last grow but I was in a hurry and stressed out! I'm not in a hurry anymore, though I'm still stressed out!
But I have the six white cookies and i ordered 10 auto white widows so I have something to smoke while I wait for the cookies. If my timing is right, buy the time the cookies are ready to flip to flower the autos should be done.

To be honest I still don't know exactly how it got in the first time. But I do know that what ever it was won't happen again!! As far as intakes and exaust I didn't add anything I just put hepa filters on the inside and standard filters on the outside. The biggest problem were leaks, areas that were letting in cold air, or areas that got warm air that may have woke the PM up. But now I have complete control over environmental elements, at least as much control as one can have.
Humidity is a tough one though, you would think I would need a dehumidifier and getting it low enough during flower to keep mold and mildew out of the equation a real bitch. But it's the opposite. Keeping it above 40% is a serious challenge. But I got that covered now.
I hope it's a smoother sailing from here.

if your working it out to a 3 month veg cycle then yeah they'll definitely be ready and as far as your photos go you should end up with some right monsters lol

You've tried , you've failed , now time to succeed! :)

Any plans on training etc? If I remember rightly you defoliated to the extreme last time lol not saying you was wrong to do so just saying maybe this time leave yourself a comparison ?
Atleast then when people call you on it you can say you've done side by side and can say either it was beneficial or it wasn't ..

this time should hopefully go a lot smoother , the fact is after last time your gonna be naturally searching for PM every time your in there So if it does strike back you should catch it early lol

Im gonna be optimistic though and say I don't personally think you'll make the same mistakes twice and the effort you've put into that room since the last lot should hopefully shine through :)

Very true, I do plan to defoliate again only not to that extreme and I'll be doing it both in veg and in flower. But ya this time i will leave one alone. Aside from topping it twice maybe three or maybe I'll give fiming another shot. But they are going to be able to get a full termine grow this time. I also have a dozen WWE autos that should be here tomorrow so if they germ as good as the others I'll be in business.
That way regardless I'll have something to smoke while waiting for the photo's

Whether you believe me or not that is what I have into my room. Every square inch is insulated with r13 pink panther insulation all new studs, rafters radiant floor sheet rock. These things aren't what killed me what did was having power put in. It has its own circuit box, even outlet is split so that each plug in is connected to a 20 fuse. Then entire cost just for that was around $2000, i dont know when you bought building material last but the materials were around $3000 that's 5k before I bought any equipment. There are only 3 lights in the pics but I have 4 1000watt hps set ups. All phantom 2 ballast 4 of them at the tune of $300+ a piece. I'm not gonna explain what else I've done i hope that clarifies it a little
