Ok so I just started my seeds last Sunday in Jiffy pots and I am going to transfer them to FFOF. I moved them inside the tent today and a couple of them are quite big already. Here is my setup.

4x4 tent
600W hps
6" clip on fan
FFOF
FoxFarms nutes

Currently they are in the jiffy pots and I am kinda unsure when to transfer them. Also they are under a cheap led grow light right now, I had issues with my cooling fan and the new one arrives tomorrow. I am growing 4 Northern Lights Feminised Seeds from 00 Seeds. When should I transplant and start the nutes? I will be moving to solo cups, then to 1 gallon and eventually to 5 gallon cloth pots. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated I have been reading over the forums for a while now trying to soak up everything I possibly can. When should I Transfer them to the cups? and how are they looking so far? Thanks

Once you put them in FFOF ..... Dont feed them anything.

FFOF WILL CARRY GROWTH UP TO WEEK 5 or 6 BY ITSELF.
Soil runs a little hot for seedings ... You can solve this by filling container ( your final size to be used - no need to keep transplanting ) with FFOF .... Then scoop out a cavity in center and fill with a light mix or seed starter mix and surrond plug with that. Mist your seedlings ONLY for now. Taproot will be able to grow within lighter mix faster and better without the heavy mix of FFOF .

This soil is a heavy feeder on its own , and have personally grown into mid flowering BEFORE soil gets weak and depleted. You will avoid big problems by NOT adding nutes to a already nute heavy soil.

When should I put them into the solo cups then and I should skip the 1 gallon and go straight to the 5?
I'd replant them in solo cups now, and bury them as deep as possible. Put a couple of CFLs very close to them to reduce stretch. The HPS is going to be too much for them at this point. You need to get a MH bulb to use for vegging, the HPS will stretch the fuck out of them.

I have a mh bulb but they are currently under a cheap led I didn't know if it was too early for it. What do you mean bury them as deep as possible?

Your 600 watt light will create some heat in a 4x4 tent your gonna need more air movement than from a clip on fan. Instead of transplanting so much plant your peat pod in a 4 inch or 6 inch poo pot or cow pots and plant directly into your 5gal the roots grow right thru with no transplant shock at all and no worries of over watering.

I have a 6" exhaust fan with a carbon filter for the 600w light, it had to be returned I was going to hook it back up today. how much of the stem should I leave visible? I am planning on switching them over to the cups this evening. Thanks for all the help guys, hopefully one day I will also be a contributing member of this board after I get the hang of things and some knowledge under my belt.

I leave about an inch and a half out but I veg under a t5 so I don't get a great deal of stretch I've seen some guys bury them more but I wouldn't, just leave the soil in the pot down about 3 inches to allow for top dressing. Once you get a grow or 2 under your belt then invest in a Compost tumbler. Good luck growing and there's a vast amount of knowledge on here.
