Don't think so cause I can wire them up separately and they will all come on .when I do a string the 3rd won't come on and I've got two bar with 6 cobs. With 2 185-1400B running each bar Very frustrating
I wonder if you have a bad driver?
I havent heard about bad drivers yet, but there have to be some by now I would think

Do you have a pot hooked up? My resistor shook loose(bad soldering job on my first light, first time soldering!),and the cobs would flicker, not come fully on....etc. Prolly not your issue, just thought I'd toss that out there.

Ahhh nevermind. Didn't read the first unread post. 6 cobs? Only 4 36v will fit on that driver. CXB's and CXA's that is. Eh.... I think I'll go back and read what you have instead of just blindly guessing...wake n bake rosin is a no-no. Makes you want to respond and help too much. Lol I'm out.

Hello guys,

Long time since i don't ask anything here....

I was making my own calculations based RIU-Efficiency SpreadSheet and Citiled Tool SpreadSheet.

I need some guidance, I just wanna know if i made any big mistake and if I can trust this data:

Hello guys!
What is the best option of 5000K 70CRI COB?
CXB3590-N0B-DB-50E
Or
BXRC-50C10K1-D-74
Or
CLU048-1818C4-50AL7K3

It would be great to look the comparison in SpreadSheet.

I want to make a light this config: (2*5000K + 2*3000K on the first driver for veg(~200watts))
+
(660nm + 730(~5%) on the additional driver for flower(~80watts))

Is this excess capacity or not for 1m² tent? Both drivers are dimmable.

Thanks in advance!

Probably the new Vero v7 or 1818. But the differences are all small. Except that the Cree cob is clearly the most expensive.

It's enough for 1m^2.

Normally 30-50watt per square foot is recommended (330-550 per m2)
But with those cobs you can get away with 20 watt per square foot.

He said 3 of them wouldn't work while 2 would. That's exactly what the 72V version would do.
I'd measure Vf across the COBs when 2 are connected. If it's ~71.5V you know what's wrong.
Yep they had to be 72V because I got some 36v and they fired up no problem what the hell am I going to do with those cxa 3070 72v any ideas? thanks
