chocolate trip grow

So this is my third go-round with trying to get something going. I've had a few seeds pop but can't get past the 2nd week. This will be my first grow in soil so I calk it up to a learning curve. Right now I'm in my third week with my chocolate trip. I started them on the 5 in a damp paper towel then transferred them to rockwool cubes a couple days later. From there I put them into a potting tin with a few holes poked into the lid and a warming mat under it. They stayed like that for about 2 weeks. Last week I took the lid off also put them into peat cups with a light mix of supersoil and old bag soil when they started showing roots. Right now I transplanted the bigger one into a bucket of super soil for a week or so till I can get the smart pots in.

So here's my set up
2x4 tent
Timber 400 w led
3 3 gallon smart pots
4in exhaust fan with controler
4x24" carbon filter
Super soil

These pics were taken after watering to check pH which I thought was high. I also thought I had a deficiency sense I have purpling stalk and some yellowing around the leaves but after transplanting into bucket the yellowing has gone.

What is causing your plants to die on the second week? If you are over watering and letting those brown pots sit in stagnant water it will mess em up. Especially if they are root bound.
If I were you I'd get them in some bigger containers and let the soil dry thoroughly between watering. If you have poor draining soil add perlite and mix it in before you transplant them

Had a lot of timing problems for the most part. Started seeds sooner than I should have then lights not showing up on time n what not. Then the 2nd go round I started some freebies in damp paper towel they throw taps n that was that. Now on to this one. So far everything has been good n I think I'm some what getting the hang of soil but we shall see.

You got this man. I'm assuming you came from Hydro... if I switched to hydro it would take atleast 3 grows before things looked normal I'm sure haha

Is it OK if I post photos of my chocolate trips here also? We can make it rain chocolate on them haha

Looks like she just hasn't quite yet caught her stride there! But besides being a bit smaller, everything looks super healthy man. Light looks awesome!
I ended up having 4 choc trips pop up from the dirt. They are just wee little things now. Will be excited to see how your plants develope.
By the way what color temp is your light?

Sounds like a good plan man! You gonna take a clone or start more seeds if you choose to run hydro?
By the way I really like the color that light puts off. Did you custom make that framing?
