Can you have too much light?

I have a serious question. You obviously believed the shit you read about the light to be willing to pull the trigger on a 4grand purchase, I would think.

From the amazon page for it it states that one light can cover a 24sqft area... You have 16sqft to cover...

What made you think you needed 4 of them? Hopefully it "fell off the back of a truck"...

Threads like these make me seriously wonder why I dont go into the business of selling overpriced grow equipment.
karma :peace:

I ordered 2 of these last week and added them to my setup this week, I doubt they're anything close to 600w because, well, they're inexpensive, but I will say that I can get 2 of them for under 310$ shipped.. and they are bright as shit.
I've been using a couple Mars hydro 300s I got for free from a friend and these new ones are much brighter. (Added in with my my 4 foot 8 bulb t5s)
Flame me if you want, but I will have the results to back it up.. for far less that what others cost.
Just my .02c

Maybe 130w. Just plan to run cheap Chinese lights at over 50w a sqft and you'll be ok until they burn out. Those are the worst you can get 3w epiled. You'll have fun for a couple months.

Just drop about 2 grand and build u some top notch leds

Haha this is the funny part! I've spent less than HALF that on ALL OF my lights, IN AN 8X8 ROOM, and I produced just about a half pound total dried off of the last 5 autos I cut down.. last month. I'm not complaining.
My electricity bill is less than 200$ a month, and I have absolutely no heat issues.
I get these 600w lights for 150$ a piece.

Not to mention I got the first 3 300w Mars leds for free. I was never a believer in leds. Especially not cheap ones, untill I flowered out the 5 autos with t5s+ leds.
After seeing results I sprung for more. Why,??
Because for cost compared to results, they are worth it! I can hang these little things sideways, face down, pointed up-however I want-for maximum penetration..
That's a 8 bulb t5 on top in the last pic.

I won't say that these leds will work without the t5s, but in my case, they work great for lower and mid supplemental lighting and I am more than happy with my cheap posted "non-working" Chinese leds =))

I'll note my full dry weight from the 3 plants in the blue bucket when I'm done!

Oh you poor poor soul. Lol.
I made the same mistake when before I "found the light". It was on a much smaller scale though.
Now i'm remaking the Apollo grow light with cree's. This will be my third Light. Does one get addicted to building grow lights?
