This is a test of Cheap Chinese lights Thanks for any input from positive people about grows they have done,

Yes you can get different lights far better in many peoples opinions. I just want to see for myself how these junk lights

preform in a micro grow I dont have the space to go bigger or the $$$ to spend on expensive grows. Hence the

water only till the homemade organic compost runs low on nutrients if they do, then they will only get worm juice an other teas

made by mother nature lol Please read before comment I like to keep things simple like me... any troll comments will

earn the ignore button:leaf::peace::leaf::hump:

We all gotta learn. I would suggest a good grow bible like one of Jorge Cervantes books. So handy to have a reference to grab and hunt down a real pros opinion on everything to do with growing pot.

Hands on practice is the best way to learn to grow even if it's in a computer case like I've seen some do.

Don't know of any links but they are sold all over the place on-line. Just Google "Jorge Cervantes Grow Bible". I got my 2nd one at the local thrift store for a dime. 10 books for a dollar and it was one of the 10. :)

He has a website too I believe.

Some free books here, (http://growcannabis.com/), but I can't vouch for how good they are. I trust Jorge more than any others including Rosenthal.

Cool experiment, wild setup with surround lighting :D

I always think it very frustrating when people start growing, don't have the budget / space or don't even know if they want to continue growing, and then have to make giant investments just to give it a try?!
So setups like yours can offer adequate solutions for all these people.
Thanks for trying it out, it'll be great to watch how it goes!

Subscribed! I like a budget grow, i want to see what happens. How are they doing now? I think its good that you added side panels, it is something i have thought about doing myself. I would lift them as the plants grow, it looks like you may possibly have room to put down stands for them to sit on.

I've a Chinese 300 watt 6 Cob Led that was advertised as 1200. I think I'll put up a journal of my grow space though it may not be on the same budget, i may upgrade along the way.

161016.jpg Today's pic shows little change from last week`s I trimmed off the shade leaves from the MM`s left front maby not a good idea, front right WW is very dense, the choc kush an GHA in the right back corner are shooting out all over. the lemon haze ,back left is bursting.:leaf:Still using just tank water.

The compost is loaded with everything from t bone bones crab an egg shells all the food scraps collected from local cafe over a week. I gave them 20 ltr plastic buckets they where happy to to it saves them money. I have really sandy soil, just dug a trench 2 ft deep bury waste fill in with sand. Wait 12 months plant peas an beans let them finish dig the whole in leave for 3 months dig it through.

Done the worms have done their job  nature at work :leaf::peace::leaf::clap:

nice to see them coming along!

i had my cheapo ufo's delivered a couple of days ago and my seedlings are showing their second set quite nicely.. just using one of the "216w" ones at pres with a couple of 20w cfls at pres, and they sure do seem to like the blurple. Still debating showing a few photos, i may just document it when it's all done..

love that you are collecting stuff for your compost too - i used to work on an organic farm a few years back and did a lot of composting - all of our veg was grown from compost made of cafe scraps and poop. Best root veg i ever tasted

Yeah those are 45 w each they dont get hot at all.no clue as to lumens per watt the plants seem to like them :leaf::leaf::peace:
Those little LED cheap lights are good for babies and early Veg. Someone got me the 14 watt version. I thought they were a joke but babies love em. Mix in some T8s like a 2 bulb T8 and it will do a good job vegging.
