wham! there we are - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Industrial-Hemp-Buds-Sort-KC-Dora-40g-organic-eco-grow-NEW-HARVEST-/272419032785?hash=item3f6d708ed1:g:R3wAAOSwdzVXqNjb

i've been wondering since growing hemp without any weed sort of incentive seems a bit bunk to me.. it might be interesting for people in climates where they already grow to be able to grow a small field of hemp to sell on the regular market for making into hempoline/oil/food whatever.. those hemp seeds at the store aren't budging from $40/bag.. so, at the same time, one could have non-black market, non-nicotine/non-addicitve smokes.. if it can not taste way harsh.. might be you'd need to grow some and actually manicure the buds all fresh.. but, there's your magical no-THC pot people have been messing with the notion of - CBD, yes, probably still..!

i mean like - hemp weed that might taste good - why i started this thread - i am trying to quit tobacco and right now i have been smoking some 'herbal cigs' ecstacy brand.. they taste pretty bad compared to a cig or weed... but, i still imagine that a person could smoke hemp and feel better than with any current cigarette,,, now that i know it is a sativa we are talking about - it is more realistic that there are good tasting hemps no?
Hemp and cannabis are the same plant. hemp is an old english name for cannabis.

Ill agree. Marijuana is slang and all forms of cannabis are hemp to me.

What everyone calls the hemp plant is just a cannabis sativa variety with little to no thc. Well the fiber hemp. Floral hemp has a indica look to it though may still be a cannabis sativa variety.

ok, but what of ruderalis and indicas with <1% THC? maybe there used to be hempus-papyrus-indicus or hempus-ruderalis-sativus or something i've tried to figure.. otherwise - where is all of this 'papyrus?' show me a papyrus seed? hempus-ropus?

but, you could like roll 1,000,000 of them and sell them by the road like bottled water.. :P plus, maybe you wouldn't buy cigarettes and it would be lesser to be smoking that in public than cigs or weed.. so.. meah.. :p

ruderalis most likely came from indica genes. It grows all over the world and is a type of hemp it is not the hemp we normally think of in the commercial sense.

Hemp was a cash crop in the Midwest for a long time. It was used to make sails in colonial dayz which is why several American presidents grew it on their plantations. Many allowed the slaves to enjoy the useless hemp flowers once the seeds for next years crop was removed. Nobody at that time thought to cultivate it for its flowers and separate the males because the male plants were considered more valuable.
I've seen literally miles of hemp growing in fields along train tracks in Kansas when I was stationed there at Fort Riley. One day in late summer my friends & I cut some buds we found which were loaded with seeds and dried it in the sun for a few days. Rolled a fatty spleef and proceeded to cough our asses off. At one point somebody said hey I think it's working...but then we all agreed we just felt lightheaded from coughing so much. Waste of time

that's why i say - trim it and cure it though and you have your CBD weed without going through Israeli labs of some kind or the insanely expensive CBDTyphoon or whatever strains.. for smoking in public 2...

Yes man I've grown idustrial hemp, dioecious strain off course, and there's up to 10% of cbd, I liked the taste and doesn't make you high but it's not like you smoking water vapour either, it was a nice smoke.

I smoked it back in the early eighties when some guy brought a trunk load full of it to Portland from Kansas or some place and sold a bunch of it real cheap and then disappeared leaving a bunch of people with weed that didn't get you high. I'd see it floating around every now and then so it was obviously a lucrative business back then to bring hemp out to the west coast.
Things have changed since then and high quality bud is going from the west coast to states like Kansas.

I like smoking, I bet I'd smoke it if it had a nice flavour, even if it didn't get you stoned.
I have to confess to having smoked almost a whole male plant's flowers out of ignorance in my first grow (before internet)

I cancelled that order from slovenia after i found the raw market hemp place. Had ordered some from there, then cancelled that also cause shipping from Oregon kinda sketched me out coming into TX. I was'nt sure on its legality. It's illegal in TX b/c its just considered marijuana. (found this out for sure after it had shipped>>>) I had bought some good flower from a different ebay seller. So i was worried. Came in today w/ no problem thankfully. Was'nt vacsealed and smelled like dank as soon as i opened the envelope. smh. Waiting for a smoke test now. Possible job on tuesday mise well not risk it.

I was initially going to smoke hemp so i could pass a drug test and to try the CBD kind of by itself. I cant find any results on smoking hemp flower and drug test so i'll wait.
