Plans for a Dinafem Auto grow

What's up people hope everyone is having a good day! I've got a photoperiod grow in flower right now that is budding up and doing well but I started planning out my next grow and I want to do an auto grow, which I've never done before. So just to give you guys an idea of what I'm looking to do, i have a deadline date and I want to have my autos harvested, dried and cured before December 10- cause I think I'll be going back home for the holidays :P
So in your personal experience do you find that autos finish on their advertised time? And what would be the latest day at this moment to purchase seeds and start germinating before I miss that dec10 mark ?

As I been planning, I was gonna go up to a dinafem store up the road, and I'm thinking about buying one of their collectioner packs which will be :
2 OG Kush auto
2 Bubba Kush auto
2 Sour diesel auto

Ibelieve they are doing a promotion right now and I can buy another seed and moby dick or blue kush is advertised at 75 days from seed. Or I could go with a shorter flowering one I think they have a few others from 55-65 days.

Anyways with that extra seed purchased I'll receive an OG kush cdb, then a choice of blue cheese blue widow or white widow xxl auto.

So that leads to my next step, I'll have 10 seeds in total (unless the OG cdb is photoperiod and not auto)

I've got a 6 pot hydro system and then I wanted to put the remaining 3 or 4 in pots or fabric planters. Where I'm at wont get freezing cold, so I can grow those babies out on my balcony, then bring them into the tent at night for extra light. Speaking of, my light is 5 CXB 3590s.

So I just wanted to hear a little bit from your guys experience and just trying to plan out this next grow, it would be really good to get another one in just before Christmas break, I've done one two plant grow at my old place was just in soil pots and sunshine, and my current grow, which was my first indoor setup so this auto will be my 3rd under my belt and 1st auto grow for me personally

Breeder estimates are generally useless unless you are running the exact same environment. Even with specific strains you can run into longer flowering pheno, this is what you have to expect when you are dealing with today's hybrids. For example I've ran sour bubbly from Mephisto several times, I've had them flower anywhere from 25-40 days and finish anywhere from 65-85 days. This is with the same medium, environment and nutrients.

The answer is there is going to be a range of probably 20-30 days that's your plant is probably going to fall into.

That being said, I've learned a few peculiarities that may be of use to you.

Generally using smaller pots, such as 1 gallon hempy, seems to cause them to finish somewhat faster. Perhaps due to root crowding. The same seems to happen with very shallow pots, such as a shallow Rubbermaid tote(6 inch) Deeper bigger pots tend to make a bigger longer flowering autos. My fastest finishing autos were all grown in small or very shallow pots. I grew an auto in a very small bonsai planter, in 5 cups of soil, that finished in less than 60days and yielded 1oz,for example.

Thanks for the wealth of info man!! So I can't do much about the ones going into the hydro tray, but the ones going in soil, 1gallon fabric planters will be perfect? Think I'll do that. What's your soil mix and nutes? Then I can bring them in when it's cold at night and they can get extra light. How many hours do you give them? I would like the perfect balance of enough light but not killin my electric bill. I'll look into those Rubbermaid totes, not sure if they have them out here tho
Buy seeds now, plant ASAP. You have enough time if you hurry a bit.
Alright yep, I think imma go up to the hydro store on Thursday and the dinafem shop on Friday, probably start germinating Friday night..

+1 for the other replies about harvest time! Breeders times are on the short side.
I've grown all three of those strains from dinafem.
Expect the OG and Bubba (mine took about 13 weeks) to take a bit longer than the Diesel (11 weeks if i remember correctly)
Prepare for some kick ass buds because pretty much anything from Dinafem is a home run. :)

I been looking forward to it for a while now :D if I go buy the seeds and start this weekend and those kushes take up to 13 weeks I'll probably have to chop them early but we'll see! Did you run anything from HSO? The store that I'm goin to has dinafem and HSO, I was thinking about copping their blue dream auto too lol

Indeed I have!
HSO Lost Coast Skunk may very well be my #1 Favorite to date, and a very fast finisher (literally 9-10 weeks)
I've also done their Blue Dream and Sour Diesel (all autos of course) and they were both fantastic!

Also I just thought about another issue, my hydro system is in use right now until around end of September beginning of October until this current run finishes. I started in rock wool cubes this time, but when will those autos outgrow those cubes and be ready to go in the system? I don't wanna have new autos outgrowing their cubes when the hydro tray is still being used with the current blue Mystics :O

I got some dinafem sour d going right now in the hydro system. Let me tell you, the sour d has exploded...I have 2 that's over 3 ft tall, and only been Goin for 2 month exactly, and they have nice buds forming, only been almost 2 weeks in flower, but they are Def some great seeds, this is my first time in hydro, and I'm amazed at how big they are in just 3 months...crazy

The thing about autos is the tap root determines flower. The bigger the pot, the longer and bigger an auto will grow.

I use 3 gallon pots. I used to use 2, and I definitely noticed an increase in size. I've tried a few 5 gallon pot runs and I didn't see a huge difference in size so I stick with the 3's.
How long were your runs, and what soil/ nutes? 6 in the system and 3 in pots on the porch sound good, bring them in the tent at night when it starts to get cool. I'm supposed to go up to the seed store today, but I got to hit the hydro store for the other stuff too

Ok guys! So I ended up with the following today:

2 OG Kush
2 bubba kush
2 Sour Diesel
1 Haze XXL
1 cheese XXL
1 Blue cheese

So I'm pretty excited on what to do :) the guy at the shop was saying that I should wait to start germinating about 1 week before I'm ready to chop down and harvest the current crop. The problem is I don't know when that will be lol, and it may be too late before that mid December date? Any suggestions on the start, it's the only thing stressing me at the moment lol. really excited to get that sour diesel going tho

This is a dinafem amnesia xxl auto in the center. The outer ones are from mephisto. Check them out. Mephisto breeds fire autos.
15 inch pots that hold five gallons, 432 watt t5ho. Around 36 inch tall for the two on the right.
