Lol. Not sure what a Marionberry is. But mine smells like Raspberries. Maybe a raspberry smells like a Marionberry... all I know is it is some dank.
Marion berries are blackberry hybrids from Oregon. I agree they smell like rasberries.

I guess no one watches Portlandia on riu. They did an entire episode about how theyre different featuring Bobby flay.

I grew a clone years of AO years ago and also cloned it a bunch. Big buds, dense, grew pretty good even in a small indoor chamber, and made some seeds on it. None sprouted this time around, but I have so many seeds and seeds I have made that I just move on when seeds don't sprout. I always sprout too many after making all kinds of crazy crosses of everything I grow from seed or buy in a clone here in the SF Bay Area where I prefer to purchase Dark Heart Nursery products. They have some crazy stuff going on in creating and selecting the best plant to clone and provide through MMJ here. They have Remedy. A 15% CBD strain with sub 1% THC. Made of Cannatonic on one end or the other. Smells great, smoke-taste is even better. People like it so much I made some clones for non-smokers with stress-relief needs to grow it outside. I kept one too for outdoors and it is a little round bush. Looks like it may be purple outdoors. My temps were too ideal to make stuff purple over winter and i do not grow indoors in summer due to electricity bills being insane. Let the sun do it. I water and kill caterpillars.

Almost all of my seeds are TGA, with The True OG, The Purps, Chemdawg IV, and Durban Poison from elsewhere. I have a strain that is Durban, Chemdawg IV, and The Purps all twisted up into a smelly creation. I have small plants of Mickey Kush x Dr Who. Querkle x 9Lb Hammer I have about 3'-4' in two plants. Those have seeds x Dr Who and x Ripped Bubba. Quantum Kush, Jesus OG Kush, Deep Purple, The Purps, Querkle9Lb, Remedy, Cheese Quake, and Purple DeathStar are all from TGA and all crossed x Dr Who and x Ripped Bubba. I just like to make seeds. I don't do it for $$ so i can make all the seeds or crosses I want. We consume it all after removing the 20-100 seeds I will make on a plant. I use different males at different times outdoors and let the wind do it. One male at a time so each generation of ripe seeds is a month apart or so to be able to differentiate the parentage. The ones IDK? Don't Know, Don't Care, Don't Want to Know. It doesn't matter because the plants are all crazy good shit that no one has ever sampled, smelled, or seen before. Or maybe again. Currently it is a mix of Kush and Purple. New babies just for seeds I have going in another ten strains or so. Just a foot or more tall. This pic is of DurPurps! Durban x IBL 'The Purps' from Kiloa, Hawaii. It is a total of six males which I pulled out of the dirt slowly to live in water and to separately collect pollen from each one for use on IBL and all my other plants for the F*ck of it. These males stink bad when handled. IMG_1222.JPG

Oops, some of those strains are not from TGA. Bad editing! But most every good Purple has roots in 'The Purps' IBL, originally from Mendocino County, California.IMG_1226.JPG We had it in the late 80's when it was only growing about 2'-3' max. It was for the outdoor growers in far NorCal up there to harvest a month early and be small to avoid helicopter detection. It made it to the Bay Area way back then through growers. The seeds on this 'The Purps' plant are growing and it is The Purps x Ripped Bubba. Urkle, Deep Purple, Querkle, Grape Ape, GDP, and many others are all selected from IBL known as The Purps.

Spiky thin leaves of Mickey Kush x Dr Who. These are to smoke and make some beans on too. Please try to ignore the powdery mildew look. It's two miles from the San Francisco Bay waters here and is damp. I don't spray plants once they are budding. Too weird for me. I am not commercial or for $$ so it doesn't matter much. It's on older leaves and the buds won't have it. The white around the base of the leaves is Frost, not mildew.

Deep Purple did not like to make seeds for me. This is a rare seed from a seed-grown Deep Purple from TGA. It is Deep Purple x 9LB Hammer as one hermied two big balls in my indoor last Winter. The 9LB Hermied and made some seeds on a selection of Stanky Danky weird stuff like these five plants I grew which took a few years to create. Durban Poison (my own IBL since 2004-don't get excited...it's gross by itself, not very strong, and smells like licorice. The odor pushes through other strains. An envelope of my strain will make a gallon jar of mixed buds, in envelopes, all smell like this funk that is created from crossing Durban Poison x The Third Dimension. Crossing that by another cross of The Purps from seed (IBL from Kiloa, HI) x my Durban Poison. I then crossed that with a male made from San Fernando Valley OG Kush (clone only) x Chemdawg IV (IBL from Kiloa, HI also) from seed. Smells funky and grapey at the same time, but the best part is it kills all the best MMJ club weed and our dirty city's street weed like GSC. A brother said how nothing matches this one...and he said, "..I'm smoking Exotics.." as if in a daze thinking of the half-3/4 pound we have burned of MMJ clones and my own creations. IMG_1236.JPG

Rasta colored running shoes. I do not run. I ride bicycles. These shoes were just too sick to pass up. Even the sole is Black, Yellow, Green, and Red.

PlushBerry day 53. The sweet smell of berries and grape aromas! A great strain, glad seeing Sub bring it back.

My Marionberry was part of a batch of $200 in seeds which i failed sprouting. I forgot how I guess after two years of not growing from divorce that was partially caused by my legal MMJ growing. I still have some, but i will grow those later.

Does anyone else have or experienced a temperamental finicky 9lb Hammer? My cut is slow growing and feeds half what all the other plants take.
