Final Flush and Molasses

Ok, I have done a ton of research on molasses and it's coming up to the last two weeks of my grow, a couple of white hairs are begining to turn. I have been feeding them the fox farm nutrient line (liquid and granular) along with a few other additives from Humbolt County's Own Products. I know that video suggested a dose of 2 tablespoons per gallon and thats what I have been giving them. Since molasses can bind to the nutrients in the soil and make them more available would maxing out the molasses at 4 tablespoons per gallon help the plant use all the nutrients in the soil? Essentially acting as a self-flush? I'm just curious, thanks

More doesn't mean better. By eliminating the ferts and just giving water and molasses it is already acting as a self flush. You could see what happens by increasing the amount if you want and let us know what you find out. Who knows you might just stumble onto something new.

yeh now that I think about it, the extra molasses would need more water to prevent it from crystalizing out of solution so the soil would have to be kept wetter then before.... your right, more is not always better

ive heard the point of flushing is to get the plants to use up stored energy it has toward the flowers, and a nut def plant by the end of ur week of leeching makes for a tastier smoke, so maybe molasses isnt a good idea all the way to the end? i dunno just thinkin out loud maybe a week with just molasses then a week of just water

I asked son of chong. According to him your plant can use the molasses the most during the month 2 of flowering. One of both of us were too stoned to make sense but the conversion went something like this.

Mogie, "When it the best time to use molasses on my plant?"

SC, "The second month is when...phone is ringing...what were we talking about?"

Mogie, "Molasses and when to use it."

SC, "Oh yeah. The seond month is when the plant is using most of the sugars it has stored up. This is the time to add your molasses aka carbo load. The sugars are being used for... I know that dude over there."

At that point I lost son of chong to a group of other mm card holders.

North, do not rely on the hairs turning brown as your indication the plant is ready for harvest. Check your trichs and when they are about 3/4 amber, the plant is at it's peak THC.

i got a plastic jewelers loop at harbor freight for about $5. it has 2 lenses that overlap, 30x magnification. they are about 1 1/2" in dia. nice big field of view. i have numerous other loopes, bought one from a online science supply center, 50x magnification. cost $60. very nice but i can only see about 5 trichromes at a time. i got a desk microscope, 100x, at a thrift store for $5.

No dont use regular sugar. You can get molasses at most grocery stores for very cheap, just go buy it

Dont use molasses in hydro. They have other molasses substitutes, that are made for hydro. Molasses will clog all your stuff up.

no just during the second month of flowering. I used molasses during my second month and check out my buds! I'll post new photos soon. But check out those in my signature.

could someone else please respond, about when and how molasses should and can be used.. I only have a few seeds, I brought with me, I live in a completely different country.. I cant read the writing, and NEED to find the easiest organic nutes I can.. I have found molasses.. I want to give my plants the best start possible..
Unlike other people who live where weed is commercially around, here ITS NOT..
So I MUST get growing, and cloning DOWN pat, if Im going to be able to get my own smoke..
Only thing I can find here is LOW GRADE hash.. I was able to bring a few seeds with me..
Once they are gone THEY ARE GONE, and I will be screwed.. So its VERY important I get as much info on growing, and using the BEST, and most easily avaible organic nute as I can..
So is it good to use this on clones or seedlings?
I know skunk did respond, but Id like as much feed back from others that have tried various uses...
Sry to sound so pushy, but I havent fucking smoked real buds in almost a god damn year :(

Look at my buds, and tell me: Would you like to smoke those? All I used was Molasses during flowering, regular plant food 10-15-10 NPK ratio during vegetative state.
