And I know all about other companies grow lights. You need to stop comparing yourselves to other people's products. Just talk about why yours is good in ways, and promote YOUR BRAND, not others.
Yeah , of course . We just want people to know that which parts our products are better and so on .
If Amare uses meanwell drivers for their led grow lights , then people who use their led and open it and check what's inside ? Not just words .

I don't have to open my case because the temps are fine. I can see inside and nothing's cluttered and everything's extremely neat. The cobs all have very thick individual heat sinks. Your lights are not Amare quality or price. If I were you I would leave it at that.

@Airwalker16 the driver swap is a perfect idea. My Eco driver is burning hot so swapping out to the meanwell will defo do it. Your setup with the Eco inside is perfect and I bet any money your new yields will be epic.

Hey thanks brutha. The clutter inside coupled with the sheer heat from 6(8 if you include the 12v fans) drivers, is just way too hot for any space. @Ecosunlite CREE LED I really reccomend you start building you units with 1 SINGLE driver that can power ALL Cobs, and another for the Xp-e's.

Ha! I gave you a chance to give me a light to do a thread with & to go side by side w/ an Amare. I think I was the very first person to offer, & I did so respectfully.
But you ran from that post as fast as you could, probably bumping into every door-jamb on the way out.
Now, it's months later & you still don't have a single person doing a thread & grow w/ your light doing its own work.
So cry over Amare cases not getting opened? We don't have to open our cases. We know what's inside. Furthermore, we don't have any problems with the light, so there's no need to open it & re-configure it to work properly.
I think Airwalker just provided you w/ an invaluable piece of info. That could improve your design if you take heed. You should be thanking him. He's even telling you how to fix the problem.
If you're so concerned w/ your light holding its own against an Amare, send it! I own a mini-split! Lol!
As I said before. I'll accept it if it's 400-500watts cuz my Amare runs 475 w & any fixture for primary lighting should be able to yield a lb. IMO.

Still NO thread w/ an Eco growing something on its own on RIU.

What's the amare led drivers like ? what's the brand of their driver ? Anyone is willing to open it ,anyway , they are made in China too .
OK , How are you so sure ? Just curious , man .
Dude who cares what inside an Amare... Its your light under the microscope here... Which you caused with your little publicity stunt. Instead of pointing at other lights how about you start coming up with ideas to fix the flaws found with YOUR lights.

Stop pointing fingers and provide some corrective action.

For your own good, you are a sinking ship here.

My bad! That was not my intention. This guy makes it hard to talk to w/o it sounding like shit talking I guess.

Well said! How did any other light get into all this anyways?

Like Airwalkwr said. 2 drivers should correct the problem. I'd be thanking him if I were Eco.

You guys are a crackup and why the LED business is a joke. Instead of worrying about your ignorance and lack of design knowledge you bring kind, amare and others into it. Rather than worrying about your design flaws, you rather attack others when you can't even properly build a light. All these factories do is either put out inferior products or copy others, make and sell it cheaper. How the hell are you going to even design proper growing lights when you don't even grow. All credibility lost here.

You're not talking to me I hope... cause if you don't think I'm capable of building lights, you're mistaken.
And this journal has turned In to a fucking joke so I probably won't continue it. Maybe I'll start a new one, maybe I wont.

Start a new thread & grow 1 plant under the Eco alone. Do not fix the heat problem until after the results & reports are in.
People need to know what is good & bad about the light. Does it grow as it should. Better yet, build an equivalent wattage cob light & do a side by side. That way people have a standard to go off & know if it performs well. I probably wouldn't have known if my HH did its job like led should or not if I didn't compare it to my Amare & HPS.
Maybe Throw a phone app light meter on it in the beginning. See if the lux or whatever decreased later from the heat problem & loss of efficacy in the chips. Bet it only takes one grow to show a loss in light due to the cluster fuck of drivers blocking air-flow.
Point is, there's still absolutely NO grow on RIU w/ an Eco light.
I don't know if this is because they won't promote it or because people keep having bad experiences & won't buy one to do it.
You may think this thread is a joke, but in my opinion, it's already helped several people see the character & quality of these lights. Therefor being a very valuable asset to these threads.
I say good job shedding the truth on a skeptical subject.

If you can offer the temp pic with other people did like this , especially only our unit alone , without your DIY ,that will be fine .
By the way , Amare led don't advertise that they use meanwell led for their panels . And you guys are fine with their temp , you can offer the data ??525ad9648afbfa170a6687f2e92d9bc6.jpg 1fada12fd4015273bf65fe4b4b079d5d.jpg

Yeah , Agree absolutely . Plants only under ecosunlite Panel .NO Fix heat problem until you finish your growing .
Your growing will show to people our unit light's performance , as we post the growing before with our units , people said that if there is one grower post its growing with your unit , that will work for people /

I agree with hybrid. This thread probably isn't what you had in mind but it's great for everyone else to see and learn from. If you can save the company from producing extremely hot panels and also give future customers insight the thread is a success. Maybe next run when it's sorted you'll get a good thread going.

Well this was after just a mere 20 minutes. In an hour or two from now, ill go snap another although you can clearly see the thermometer telling a high of 90*F. I took a few side shots of the unit as well so you can see what it looks like so full of drivers.20160811_080729.jpg 20160811_080748.jpg 20160810_111658.jpg 20160810_111709.jpg
