So a total newbie here living in the wonderful West. I am seriously considering setting up a grow room in my attic. If I wanted to sell wholesale would it be easy to find a buyer ? I am very security concious & have a situation where I could grow long term & provide an income in my old age :)
Welcome to the forum.
No offence but if you go into this with money only on your mind you are going to fail.
You have to have 2 or 3 good grows behind you to start thinking about money.
You have to have a respect for this plant. You have to have a "feel" for it and it's needs.
I have no doubt you will succeed but just take your time. We are all here to help you and we all wish you luck :peace:

Not quite that old but getting close & it was a classic typo I wish that I had studied pants like that :)

Blood & bone was banned in a lot of countries after mad cow disease. You can still get it here but I have never heard of commercial sacks. You only use small amounts of it as it's there to supply minerals. I plan to do so test grows using different fertilisers. Plants need a mixture of nitrogen for leaf growth & then phosphates for good flowering. Rose feed would be similar to blood & bone. In the garden pelleted chicken manure is excellent but I don't know how well it would work.

Billy stops Paddy in Dublin and asks for the quickest way to Cork.
Paddy says, "Are you on foot or in the car?"
Billy says, "In the car."
Paddy says, "That's the quickest way

Paddy and Mick are walking down the road and Paddy's got a bag of doughnuts in his hand.
Paddy says to Mick, "If you can guess how many doughnuts are in my bag, you can have them both

Serious question. Have any Irish growers had problems with excess electricity consumption being detected ? I am planning to build up slowly to prevent a sudden increase & I am on a payg meter.

Best of luck with everything man, hope all goes well for you.
I'm a bit of a noob myself, did 3 single plant grows years ago and I'm just getting started again. Have 2 autos on the go, we had a rocky start but we found our feet and they're starting to take off now. They ppl here are very knowledgeable and you'll find them a great help. I certainly do! Given your background, I look forward to seeing what you do. Weed's Walter White.

Attics can be quite hard to control temps. Too hot in summer too cold in winter. Too much temp fluctuation on a daily basis
