My screen is set so much higher. I feel like maybe I'm doing it wrong? I wanna be able to full out the full 4x4. I havent put the screen on the pvc poles yet though cause they haven't reached it. Should I lower the poles? (Cut them shorter)View attachment 3659462 View attachment 3659464
well what you do is take that screen and gently "smash" down those branches and you have a scrog ..not just a cola holder you train the growing tips to become their own mini cola's

then you lower the lights to the best height

Nice looking plants and scrog setup! That light looks really nice, too! I can't see spending that much money on one, but if it was half that price, then I'd be steering towards trying one. I like that sleek, clean look.

Day 24
Trucking right along. I'm eager to see what these will look like in a month.

The canopy should be done stretching, now just have to keep everything clean and make sure the lowest buds are getting light since that was my main concern with this output and spread.
The defoliation never ends.
They like this light nice and close and I plan to keep it like that.

A beautiful bed-a-buds there! I like that you can keep it so close without lenses and such an even distribution of light and no bleaching...hardly a photon left behind. I, like you, love to see those fans up at a 45 degree angle. Be interesting to see how that little flat panel yields. Thanks for sharing.

Day 27
Did some defoliation last night. I'll do a little more next week then let it be.
Can you say bud sites?
It's like a packed night club in here. 2 clones would have been more than sufficient.
I'm gonna have to pretty much strip them bare next time I trim them up which will probably impede the growth a little but I'll take them as long as they need to go.

That is packed! I have never minded pinching fans with stems to expose bud sites...good on ya there. It should be an awesome harvest when they mature. Nextlight might use you for a promo thread.

This is going great! Awesome stuff...

Seemz this light would be perfect for stacking in shelves (multi level styles) basically a stealth growerz wet dream huh! :)
Thanks man! Absolutely, I was looking at it a few weeks ago trying to figure out how I could make use of all this extra space. I was gonna block some off and dry a plant in there just for the hell of it lol
If this tent was split evenly with a shelf I could totally have two of these same grows going vertically.

Day 45
Moved the light up another notch on the chain yesterday to see how they like it.

I'm getting the feeding dialed in with the 2 gallon pots this run.
I was feeding every other day then every two days and now I'll go back to every other day. Each pot gets 3 16oz solo cups of feed/water now instead of 4 which I think was drenching them a little much but I like to get a good bit of runoff every feed/water to limit salt buildup and keep everything fresh. I expect this to change back to 4 cups each pot in the coming weeks as they swell up a little.

The first 2 cups are straight 321 + .5gr of Jacks blossom booster with the next cup being straight 321. They love it.

I took my last BD 77 days under my cobs then 3 days in dark. I might cut the lights on these at day 67 then do 3 days in dark and chop on day 70. I feel they were at there peak terpiest and stickiest around day 65ish.
I'll just see how they look in 2 weeks.

@Greengenes707 the 10 day flush I did on the Kandy Kush was perfect. I thought that might be a little long in coco, but not at all. A little over a 2 week cure and it's already nice and smooth with a nice snow white ash.
The BD I did a full 2 weeks of straight water and florakleen and that might have been more than necessary.
With this run I may just give half strength on the last 2 feedings and flush for 7 days since the pots are smaller.
It's all about experimentation.
