thanks for the input I was thinking about cfls tbh. I'm new to cfls and leds not sure how much is needed to veg 6 or 7 girls out in that 4x4x6 tent.

1 4ft t5 6 or 8 lamp fixture would be all you need to veg man.

I'd get it of Amazon or ebay if I were you. Or even HTGsupply.com home of the pot will cost you an arm and a leg.

3w diodes. Just cause it says "cree" does NOT make it a good light fixture. That is a Blurple light. Yes it will work, but nothing like XLamps. CxB...

1 8 bulb fixture the veg ones.
40000 lumens not much but will work for the veg tent. I believe 40000 lumens is equivalent to a 250 HPS. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. I want to see how warm these lamps get. That was the only negative issue people reported. I'll post pics once it's here and set up. Thanks again

I'm gonna run a fan so shouldn't be an issue but people on amazon kept saying in reviews that the ballast would get hot due to design. I'm not stressing I'm sure any HID light would be much warmer
