So I just had a hand on this plant 2 weeks ago. I can't say for sure if I have or not since then. It was against my far wall that gets adequate light.

I've been having issue w my girl scout cookies...it starts with major purpling and then yellowing and necrosis and then this.

I have been trying to get help w that thinking it's just the gsc.....well I went to go grab this guy to put on my dark room because it's been 10 weeks and it's crisped up! Whole thing!

Feels like buds that are hanging to dry. Not kidding, exactly like them.

WTF. Help me out. Something very bad is happening on my garden....

I grow in a mix of roots organic original and 707, EWC, Perlite.
They are top dressed at time of flip and then again 4 weeks in and get botanical teas, aloe, coconut ect.
Room temp about 75 and RH about 50% Watering about every 3 days.

I grow organic, no bottles.

As you can see from pic 2, the buds looked fine! This is a god bud plant.

Help a brotha out!

Oh no, not like this. I have been growing for 6 years and this plant is f'ed. I've been having my gsc do this and I have only grew her out a couple times so I figured I screwed something up and I had to dial it in and then I grabbed this today in its 9th week and it's like someone cut it and hung it to dry. Straight up.

Buds are like 85% crispy.

Leaves have 0 moisture in them.

I'll go grab a bud and crush it in my hand and post a pic. We all know buds won't do what I'm about to show you.

@whitebb2727 like I said, It would have happened in last 2 weeks. It looked like it was dropping leaves like normal, I don't feed last 2 weeks of its life. It looked like it was just getting ready to come out.

I was shocked when I touched it. Never had this happen. The gsc I am growing also did this but I just figured I did something w that strain or needed to dial in nutes and what not :/

@Mohican I wrote it a couple posts ago. Other than that just 5 gallon black plastic pots. Not no til yet. These are just a soil mix I've used over years when I didn't have a supersoil or what not made up

It's chronic quality! No seeds nothing. Picture you have a plant that's about to come out right....and then you touch it and it feels like a plant you cut, dried and are about to jar...

I saw a gsc do this..it went from greener style, some yellow in leaf to crispy in a week. So I'm thinking this god bud did the same. I noticed 2 days ago it looked weird and I didn't have time to check it so I checked it today and bam. Fucked

I have seen plants do this inside before...a wOman ...which was a bitch. ..was growin some pretty dank weed bit the plants were small as shit...she had cut almost all the leaves off of her plant ..I mean it literally looked like a stick with like 3 fan leaves and crispy ass buds..it wasn't dead...I just figured it wasn't able to hold much w ate or something. ..I literally pulled a bud off and rolled a j...it def wasn't dead either

I don't know. When the gsc did this I did the same. Cut it, and then threw it in the jar since it was so dry. Said fuck it and left a nug out and ground it up and smoked it right then and there.

Harsh as fuck put actually tasted good and got me higher and they smelled good before and after the jar.

Like normal buds that just crisp up like they were sitting on a coat hanger in my room I dry my buds.

Crazy.

I aldo never give anything but organics.

You didn't feed it the last two weeks? Like you just gave it plain water right?

I've seen plants get like that from heat stress. A friend of mine had a flower room running in the 90's constantly for his last three or four weeks of flower.

But yeah death would be my second guess. If a plants roots die out in flower when it's close to the end you might not notice because to the naked eye you're still seeing the buds ripen.

But definitely bro, buds shouldn't be like that.

My vote is for heat stress with a little side of late in flower root death.

Maybe calling her a bitch when she's just being resistant to change like most normal people is what made her so unreceptive to your criticism? Lol
