I'm planning to pop some JTR beans in a week. TGA recommends to leave it untopped in veg. Any thoughts? How is the stretch? I will grow in coco/perlite mix.

That looks absolutely awesome brother. Timewreck was one of my first picks I wanted from TGA, but Sub didnt think it would fare well in the tropics outside. Is it prone to mold? Whats the smell like?
I never had any problems with mold. The smell is a light cat pissy/skunky/funk mixed with floral. It's not over-bearing but I'm around it all the time so I'm so used to smelling it all the time. Grows best un-topped and has little stretch. It's the most potent TGA strain I have too. The high is soaring for the first 15 minutes or so and then becomes narcotic and you get the munchies and pass out.

Yeah, this one was un-topped and gets really nice lower sagging branches too. I think she gets that from the Vortex parent. I have my job interview next week so hopefully I'll get to smoke her. *fingers crossed* Got a small stash of her from. last harvest.

I've run JTR a while now, one of my favorite smokes, happy and energetic. Terps are off the hook mango-lemon-cleaner. I popped 3 beans, got 2 girls, the plants were nearly identical but one had stronger aroma so I kept her clones and have run her maybe 6x. I didn't top her from seed but have topped the clones every time. I don't remember how much she stretched from seed but couldn't have been more than 1.5x. Clones stretch like 25%,barely at all, but mine have many tops so could be different. Plus I'm a organic soil grower so could be different than coco/perlite. Here's my latest flowered JTR, I chopped in March, pulled ~5 oz... :joint:JTR FLOWER 3:16 _4218.jpg JTR FLOWER 3:16_4265.jpg

So I've been wondering what happens when you get twins out of a seed? Are they identical? Fraternal?

I have 5 TGA kaboom one of 2 of which are twins. And they appear to be phenotypically/genetically different. The weaker one has been propped up and now has the same dominance as the initially larger one. Pic attached, current pic in a minute

I planted a Dr Who twin and though they both came up and stayed up for few weeks, it was slow in performance so I killed them both. Maybe I should have separated them, or attempted to, but in my experience these traits passed along are not a positive but more of a deformation (in my eyes). For instance I have recently had 3 triploids from another breeder which were all runts and always behind all the other plants..

Thanks for the response man, I fuckin love your grow, lol if I could I'd be in Vietnam in a minute. Always felt a special connection to it from an American perspective, just the senselessNess of the war.

Anyway, I did not seperate them and they're both the same size as the rest so far, but appear very slightly different from one another, I will keep them going and repro on there progress :)

Speaking of deformities, there's a few in these kabooms

Thanks for the kind words. Agree with your assessment too. I would venture to say 99.9% of wars are senseless and propagated only for a monetary means or to trample someone elses ideas/ways of life because they are different. Anyway I wont rant on. I agree :)
I had 3 triploids of Connoisseur Genetics Rainbow Jones & 1 Karma 24k White Gold.
Will be cool to hear if they end up doing ok. I also give mine pretty tough love when they are young to see if they are worth the time I give them.

Instead of marching down the street with m16s why not March down the street with a couple guitars- Jimi Hendrix 1967

My phone isn't letting me upload pics but I will tomorrow. And I agree man, all war is senseless.

Here's that twin. The one on the right was the small one, I've topped and pinched the strong one several times and they are now equals. The twin has definitely deeper serrations in the leaves in perso. I'm going to keep them both going until sexing, but what if ones is male the other female? Can that happen? Should I breed them? Lol lots of questions, but I'm not a noob to growing, just chucking :)
