Wow, blast from the past, my first led run................YES two 180w panels should cover 4-6 autos in flower and replace a 400w hps, now that the xbds have been upgraded its a solid panel again IMO.......

good luck grower

Hmm i like growin different auto strains and they get around 50-80cm.. Would it be too much? for 2 hanses.. i mail him and he sad that two lights will be ok,but 3will be better.. lol. Please understand me this is big finnancial give away for me and i must decide very well... one funny thing to me is that on bonsai site writes that light gives 160w and pulls 180w that is little odd to me for led...

What is your goal per harvest? If you look at Tastyled, PLC, Timber, and a couple others that advertise here, you will find a better light. I would base your lighting needs around 1 gram per watt. So, if you go thru 2 ounces a month, I would look for around 175 watts or more. Another great think about the newer white lights is that they could be used as shop lights if you stop growing.

6 Cree XPEBRY Royal Blue, 20 Cree XPEBRD 801 Red, 11 Cree XTEAWT White, 8 Cree XPERDO Red Orange and 8 Cree XPE DeepRed Led's

seems like red/orange (xperdo ~615nm) is a new addition to the spectrum.

if you go with hans, order one spare driver for the case when it fails. 2 out of 6 panels (2 65w, 4 150w) i know of had driver issues at some point.

For someone just getting into the research of LED's, can somebody please tell me what the best LED companies are for 2016 so I can start looking around? Cheers.

I've been using two 80w Hans panels for a while now, definitely not worth their price and plants obviously prefer other (white) light sources.
