By the way, that side lighting that you're talking about, there's a plant training method called scrog that does the same thing with top lighting only.

More power to you buddy. This ain't grasscity though. You might hear oppinions you don't like.
And I'm 100% open to them. I have no place to like or dislike an opinion. We all have them just like assholes. I only ask that if an opinion strongly contradicts mine, an explanation. Just so me, you & all who read this stuff can make an educated decision on there own based on all our bickering which is bound to have validity in one form or another. I feel all I've said is valid & should be useful to someone. Poole are going to buy pre-made, just the way it is & if they are then they should know what lights poeple are happy with. Peace!

Yup. Now I will try something better utilizing the plant. Vertical growers are known to get better yields or GPW from a single bulb then us scroggers. But most don't do it for their own reasons. The SC utilizes the entire space. Give it a chance. Stop by my thread n see what can be done with only 100 watts a plant, hoping to be successful.
Not trying to pop my new light bud. Voids warranty I think. But it's heavy as hell. I can show you almost anything else, but the scrolled writing on the side is big so you can see inside np. The info I know in this light I obtained from the company. Talk to MARS, they pop panels for fun.

Research (reading something online) doesn't make you an expert... You sound like someone that did 'research' on the latest and greatest penny stock and is now telling others how to invest in penny stocks.

To me, research is buying and trying different grow lights in side by side comparisons to expose the B.S. marketing claims used by companies to brainwash consumers.

As much as I dislike Mars Hydro for example, I would rather buy 6 of their grow lights than 1 Amare (at the same price).
I recommend them over the ones you specifically claim to use because they are the ONLY ones you've claimed to have tried as someone new to LED.
Who cares about the opinion of someone whose research consists of reading a few marketing taglines and other BS?
People care about what they are getting for their money so don't spit out scientific jargon thinking it clarifies anything for the consumer.
If anything that just confuses them further and they end up making the wrong decision (getting ripped off) and then saying LED sucks.

I'm not an expert but also did NOT absorb mtkg BS & did seek scientific data & facts. I believe they ARE important to know & understand prior to spending this much$$$ on lighting. You seem to believe your RQE or Burple lights are the way to go. Doesn't that portray that you're the one who believes BS mktg strategy??? Don't be confused, just read & be more open-minded. I am open to everything here. I am Hybridway because I've tried many combinations to find what I like in all aspects of growing. Lucky for me, I reasearched each enough to have it not have cost me a loss & actually gained me allot of quality & quantity. I believe combinations of the best is the way to go. If my studies work out, I'll have a SC for vertical growing of tall Sativas, an Amare for a power-house, & possibly a FluenceBio SpyderXPlus for my heavy scrogging. But I must try all 3 to know. If you say your Candian COBs rock that hard & they're way cheaper then I'll buy one just for you to see a side by side but that's what the HH light is for so I can see for myself. 2 weeks under these 2 lights so far & I can see a huge difference with 3 plants each, cloned from the same branch. You're welcome to come by (my bad that's GC) I'll have to start one here (SC is here) Everyone is for that matter.
Never seen Amare or HH or SC in action then swing through. I'm just as surprised as everyone else aside from picking these lights for a reason.

You haven't even done one grow under your SC yet..... Are you just trying to justify for yourself the money you spent on junk lights?

Damn bggrass just laying down the law.

Anyways, not4n... your links didn't work. I'd try Ebay as Aliexpress often has higher prices. But you can also try emailing the company on aliexpress to buy directly.
