Details, does the ballast have a fuse built in?

That's a good question, all I know about it is that it's dimmable. That's really it. It's a 400w yieldlab digital ballast. Here's a picture
I see they sell a fuse for those ballasts but I don't see a fuse holder on the exterior of the ballasts.

Plus if the fan is still running it's getting power. Likely fried. Don't skimp on the lighting and if possible buy from a local shop, some of them are pretty good about loaning you a ballast until they resolve the issues with the broken one.

yeah and spend a little more money , look at 315 cmh kits, much better than 400hps/mh

I'm in south fl we don't have any local shops. Voting is in November, here's hoping we make it this time.

oh I can't begin to tell you.....well I could but research that shit yourself and you'll see.
Yea I been doing that the past few mins. Shit looks like it could get pricy. I found a small hydroponics store in the area, they sell some equipment there I'll swing by and check it out. They seem to be charging a lot more than what i find online, god damn hipsters.

you'll have to pay the price and deal with the shops but once it's legal and you find yourself in there daily for a period of years (I'm very loyal to my shop) you tend to get better deals down the line.
I get better than online prices on a lot of stuff at the mom and pop I shop.

If you have a continuity tester you can test the fuse. Hell I can think of several stone age ways to test the fuse. Sometimes in a bind back in the 70s you could wrap a blown auto fuse with foil although I wouldn't advise it.

Not sure but look at the specs of the fuse and hit up a radioshack to see if they have the right fuse.
Looks like it is a spare the arms that hold the fuse only fits one fuse. But it didn't work either. I guess I'm buying a new one
