if i 12/12 from seed... how long till plants show sex?

i was gonna purchase from altitude, but ima wait till the september specials come around, but in the meantime.. i cant go 2 days without having a grow.. its my new addiction.. but i have a nasty habit of getting males, so i just wanna sex them as soon as possible

I forced mine at about 5 weeks...they are gonna need some time of more than 12 hours of light to get going good...

If you go 12/12 and get a male then that sucks, if you go 12/12 and get a female then you've potentially lost a large amount of harvest. The best way (not the fastest) is to take a clone from the plant at about the 30ish day mark and put it 12/12. And just order fem'd seeds and

nah go look up all the 12/12 pages, they can get going on that it's just a loss of a lot of growth time.

I planted 10 seeds when i tried to do this they all hermied, except for only one female. i was bummed

del666 has a grat 12/12 thread going, many people grow 12/12 from seed and do quite well... I threw 3 bag seed in my flower oom from seed and just started blooming. it takes about 10 weeks from seed to flower.

2-3 weeks, mine took a little bit more then 3 weeks but thats how long it takes.
plants dont turn out small if you 12/12 from seed, I grew mine in a 1gal pot then when it showed sex and was rootbound enough I replanted it into a 3gal pot and it exploded.

I'm up to 15 days. I vegged for about 3 days so I pretty much 12/12 from seed.
Edit: still no sex.

I only grow mine 12 12. In a 3 gallon pot I got 4-5.5ft plants. I saw preflowers at 29-31 days confirmed flowers a week later.

Yes a plant in veg will show sex by preflowering when they become sexually mature. Its strain dependent and can be anywhere from 3-6 weeks or even longer in some cases. You often have to look very close to see the preflowers. I like to check the fourth node from the top of the plant. Seems that is where they show first.
