It's not the size of pic you use, if you use the 'upload a file' button, you have the choice to upload the full image or a thumbnail, you've uploaded a thumbnail.

And GGJ is correct as always, it just looks like residue where a drop of solution has dried out
Interesting but those areas were covered with powdery stuff and looked like that after being sprayed. I never foliared or sprayed anything before that. Any how I foliar sprayed yesterday with AACT and it seemed to be gone but I foliared with some left b over AACT this morning too. I'm gonna keep my eye on it I also have some other ideas I've thought of that might help it if it doesn't work. But so far so good

Screenshot_2016-01-23-19-33-25.png I've been thinking about foliar spraying more often now and im going to make it a part of the weekly schedule. I was also thinking about foliar spraying with Aloe Vera as I've heard good things and I know it's an amazing plant, I wonder if it could possibly be used to cure PM or prevent it? That's a better pic before the spray down. Thanks Don didn't notice the thumbnail or full pic option :)

I don't think it will cure it, but aloe does contain salicylic acid and this acid is known to activate the plants (SAR) systemic aquired resistance, this is a natural defensive mechanism that helps.

Aloe also has growth hormones and this ultimately equates to more growth and more leafs to conduct photosynthesis. The more active growth a plant exibits, the more resistant it will be to problematic events.

I love aloe. I have about 10 mother plants going so I can harvest fresh cuttings every week lol. Its a staple in my garden.
I love it and coconut water as a combo for super lateral growth. 1:1 combo @2cups per gallon will make a haze into a bush

Just ordered 1.5kg tiger worms and 20L wormcastings, I'm really not happy with the dendro's I've got. The worms that haven't gone nightcrawling don't seem to eat that much. Gonna add some to my 3 existing bins and start a fresh one with just tigers in.

Oh..........and mosquito bits are on their way too, I've got more fungus gnat knocking about than I like
Tiger worms are red wrigglers. If you can get Canadian nightcrawlers, add those too the bin. The co exist very well with wigglers.

I'll be making a second tower farm here soon, I'm getting soo many babies end they grow quick. Temps, pH, air flow, moisture, bedding and preference of food is all you need to worry about. Success is guaranteed!

I never used to used either, but for the last few harvests I've used it and my final yeild has gone up. Same strains, same soil, everything same.... Aloe and coconut feed plants always win. Much more vigor and growth, and the leafs act differently which ultimately resembles the plants status.
I would even go as far as to say potency is increased with Aloe and coconut. Healthy plants are always more potent because they can live to their full genitic potential.

Took a smaller sacrificial blueberry bud off to have a closer look at the tricomes, sticky and very zesty at the moment, I've noticed, the berry smells come when drying/curing

Still got some clear some cloudy, not a sign of any amber yet...........wait it out
Definitely some dank. Looks good bro. I just love the "bulbous calayx" look. Attractive flower set. Don't let her go too long because you'll loose some of that fruity berry terpene and it will go more musty skunk funk / earthy.

Wow, I didn't know that but great to know I might start using aloe for life after hearing that. I have tons of them growing too hehe. I bet there's more benefits too. I'm gonna start foliar spraying with aloe in a couple days

Couldn't agree more. I think the sar system in cannabis involves cannabinoid and terpenoid production. Which if true would lend credit to your statement about potency. I've noticed a huge amount of leaf shine when I use aloe in my silica foliars

The biochar burner is cooking nicely, it usually takes around 2.5 hours to burn out and an hour cooling. Post pics later
Do you ever monitor your temps? I was doing a bit of reading on the process and apparently consistent temps of certain ranges can produce different kinds of char, lowtemp being the king in regards to quality as a soil amendment.

Nah, I wouldn't know how to go about it, maybe try infra red through the little side holes. It doesn't seem to get really hot, it would draw more air through the hotter it got and this just seems a steady flow, its burning real clean this time.

Aside from your idea, I wouldn't know how to go about that either. I just know that after like 400° a lot of the beneficial material is offgased or converted (I can't remember the specifics) it effects cec I believe.

It took some time experimenting, on my first few batches the feedstock was too chunky and didn't cook through properly, so I had to burn it twice. I think this probably indicates quite a low burn temp also. It's been refined since then and hopefully this batch should turn out perfect

I would imagine that would indicate that as well. How long did it take you to get your design down?

I was pretty much stuck with the metal bin and empty paint can, all the oil drums here have pouring holes and aren't suitable, plus i could only find the 80 gallon size which was useless without a smaller 50 gal. My design is a copy of the youtube biochar workshop. The main experimenting was finding a chimney to draw enough air, I'd scaled it down with the rest of the design which didn't work and the one I'm now using looks about the same size as the bigger workshop burner

Sorry i didn't answer your question, not long, about a month and probably 5-6 burns, but when i get into building something like this, i get on a mission
