you don't like Muslims ? All Muslims ? I bet you are one of those who has never left the U.S.
There are exceptions but crap look at San Bernandino and all the home grown who go berserk and commit mass murder in the name of Allah. That "nice" family sitting there next to you might be plotting your death.

Don't turn your back.

This isn't 1990. Shariah law is like a cancer. It has spread to the U.S. and you can forget Europe, they're history.

I would not feel comfortable leaving the U.S. in this day and age.

Excuse me. There's a new laundry that opened down the block. It's owned and run by a black family. I need to run down and get my KKK hood and gown cleaned before they close today.

Just not sure why you would feel the need to use a racial slur. It just makes you look like a racist asshole.
As the typical atheist RIU airhead, do you like or dislike evangelical Christians? The kind that wants to keep Christian religion and prayer in our schools and the Ten Commandments at the county courthouse steps and national federal monuments?

I'm not an athiest.

Not sure why you wanna fight. If you don't like the Muslim faith then say that. I don't care for it much either due to its foundation in sharia law.

Don't throw terms like rag head around. It accomplishes nothing but make you look uncultured.

Do you consider yourself a Christian? WWJD?

Dislike. Evangelicals wish to run others' lives.

None of that shit belongs in school.

Send your kids to parochial if you wish to teach bible.

Freedom FROM is our right as is yours to choose it..keep it at home and away from other who wish not to believe.

How is Christianity forced upon you?

In certain Arab countries Muslim law is forced upon its citizens. Which Christian law have you been forced to obey?
Hell just yesterday I was told how I'm going to hell because I have not accepted Jesus as my personal savior. When I tell people I don't believe in the religion that's being sprouted today, you should see the looks and the treatment I receive. I was removed as a coach on a youth football team because I would not pray before and after games.

As much as I agree with your disgust. There is no freedom FROM religion, only OF religion. Schools that try to stop Muslims, Christians, etc, from praying or discussing religion, find out very quickly they are on the wrong side of the law.

That is messed up. Your religious choice or refusal to practice religion has no impact on teaching.

We're you teaching at a religious private school?

Nope it was coaching a youth football program.
They had a tradition of prayer before and after games.
You should of sued them for wrongful termination.

Did you? The law protects you from being terminated for belief or lack of belief.

It's called religious descrimination.

I feel like we've had this discussion before. Lol

There are people that treat religion like a exclusive club.. not very Christ like.

Acceptance of others and not treating others badly over differences is part of Christ's teachings.

Not everyone who calls themselves religious follows the teachings, even those that try to follow it will slip from time to time.

I gotta agree with you on this. As long as there is no pressure or bias against those that don't want to pray, bow towards Mecca, etc.

You're the instigator first calling me names with no reason at all.

My point was many on this forum hurl the angry, hateful term of "racist" when they disagree with someone. Has nothing to do with reality regarding race. It's just a lame expression of hate for the poster used by libtards.

So.........it's OK for me to not like a religion, the Muslim faith and culture, make fun of their (stupid) dress code, (burkas anyone?) but when some (or most) of the atheists in this forum start their anti-Christian slander, it would not be fair for me to call you/them a "racist"? :wall:

You can't have it both ways my friend.

So? Have some fun with them, start a discussion. As an agnostic and understanding the societal and psychological dynamics of religion I sure do.

When I tell people I don't believe in the religion that's being sprouted today, you should see the looks and the treatment I receive. I was removed as a coach on a youth football team because I would not pray before and after games.
Sounds like to me you're being a bit disrespectful and un-cooperative. In the company of Christians I bow my head when they give prayer, thanks, at the dinner table. My company knows I know it's bullshit, but I go along to get along. Prayer does not hurt anyone. It's just another feel-good thing that some people do. Now, when they advertise their religious Holier-Than-Thou crap on Facebook trying to look righteous and "good", that's when I get pissed.

I've mentioned this before and won't embellish much more but every religion was designed, was scripted, to provide order to people's lives and the collective. Christianity uses guilt and fear to control but it also teaches other excellent credos like "love they neighbor" or "turn the other cheek". Fear - "If you don't behave you're going to hell!" All societys' laws are based on the dominant faith of that country.

As a student of comparative religions in college, an elective course. I'm here to tell you the 10 Commandments are the best rules for a civilized society and one reason why I'm pissed that prayer has been taken out of school. It's always the minority that fucks up this country and I'm tired of it. (yes, that includes the gay movement) Look at most kids these days in the bigger cities. They're spoiled undisciplined brats with little regard for others' property and rights. They've got this entitlement mentality of "hurray for me, fuck you". Right @schuylaar ?
