Come on i call bs. U dont see roots coming out of rockwool in 4 days. The fastest i have saw roots in an easy cloner was 3 days but only a couple of 48 by day 10 they are usually all ready to transplant.
Not saying u are lying but i can bet that not one person will believe roots in 4 with rockwool.
Im running an aero flo and u want bare root cuttings in most hydro applications, excluding ebb n flo where i have saw people using only rockwool before.
I do use rw for all seeds tho.
would u like me just to clone 4 and post day by day of pics just to show u how quick they go ?

Container size isn't important as long as you can produce violent bubbles, frothy foaming bubbles are the best....
This setup mimics Aeroponics and aims for 100+% humidity and darkness in the "rooting" area. Add in a clear cover to trap extra humidity at leaf level. So try to accomplish that on whatever scale fits you....

I have a friend using this style cloner in a "Gatorade" bottle....
So instead of sprayers bubbles work as well. Hell ya. Then ill switch out my sprayer for some airstones and a pump. Never tho

I dont really want u to but go ahead and make sure u use a camera with date and time. 4 days out of rockwool i would have to see it

I never said that airstones work as well as sprayers, no one said you should change your setup at all.... Some people grow on a budget, and can't afford a commercial cloner. Some people may have a space requirement to meet...

I hope your un-needed and unwanted sarcasm finds you well in life, it's sure to take you far.

I know of a guy that used a wiper pump and the windshield sprayers to grow a plant in the 1960's.
The today car comes with this little (high pressure) pump installed in the windshield washer reservoir:)
!2vdc.
I prefer using the spent res water from the budders to irrigate the clones. This ensures that they have a proper mix to get started.
Keep in mind that clones from a seedling will root mainly from the bottom of the stem and clones taken from a clone will mainly root through the sides of the stem.

I would like to see scientific evidence to back that statement. In my experience, where roots first appear is related to where and how they're cared for..

Well...I guess you'll just have to do a few and find out for yourself.

The reason being IMO is that seed plants are hollow while mothered clones are not.

I don't do scientific...I only report what I see in my grow room. Unfortunately I've only done a little over 20,000 clones in my life so maybe you should ask someone with more experience:)

i wasnt being sarcastic. i was really going to try it but now im second guessing that.
I could care less what you try. I am only offering an efficient and easy method to clone.

I'm not doubting your experience! I merely want to see scientific study regarding this.

You're quite a jerk off arent you. Listen to this clown. Why u going to open ur mouth. You obviously cared enough to take the time to read then respond to multiple posts. Maybe you care to much... chill out bro nobody cares how much u care or dont care. Now do u care to say something retarded in response? Because i dont care. But if you will read what you wrote you must care some, " i could care less." That states that you care. " i couldn't care less," now those are words of someone who dont give a fuck.

20160101_233707.jpg 20160101_233717.jpg 20160101_233707.jpg Pics of my diy cloner. $1 mini tote/shoe storeage box bought at BigLots. Mini hydro pots free at Petco came off the live aquarium plants, I juat asked if they had any and the girl worki g there was happy to give me as many as i needed. Air pump about $17 at Petco. So i spent about $18 on a six site bubble cloner. As of niw i use rapid root plugs inside the plastic]

I hate to be that guy, Buy you do not need an aerator for cloning a mj plant, IME it made no discernible difference in time taken to grow roots. But if you sleep better at night then by all means :) BB

Made up one of these little fog cloners the other day. That's besides the point. These little 3 gallon rubber maid containers are on sale at Kroger stores like fred meyer and the like for 4 bucks. I think they'd work well for this application as well.

Not currently... I'll start one when I start my next cycle
Excellent, I will keep my eye out. Thanks for the DIY, though I'm not personally utilizing it at the moment I do have all the proper equipment lying around and may compare it to the fogger. Always good to see someone contributing to the community.
