I'm extremely blessed to be retired at 60. Had to retire due to a car accident when I was 55. Life is good now. I tip my hat to the working man and woman. Been there, done that.
Fuck Work works for me! All I have going right now is a garden, feeding myself, a cat, and a dog. Also, a few trips to the store and post office a mile away. That's enough!

So it took a car accident to set you free to spend your time as you wish. Bittersweet.

You're on Disability? That's OK. So is my wife. I am a caretaker.

Retired at 54 with money in the bank, pension, insurance, bought a farm, built a custom house and am gardening on a professional and personal basis. Enjoy......cause the arthritis and aches and pains will get worse.

Got to admire the working man. Got to admire the working man even more who invests for his future and understands the concept of deferred gratification.

Came up with a saying years ago which has worked well - "take care of the future and the present will always go your way."

You are needy.
I have everything I ever wanted. I made it happen.

All you appear to have is stupid non cannabis related avatar, RIU, and your little support group of dysfunctional misfits...... posting childish shit like a kid shooting the finger at a cop on a kiddie skateboard.

Wow!

No, I'm doing fine on my retirement pension and a few other checks that come in each month... Gives me enough to pay the bills - especially the electric bill!

I would much prefer to have had control over MY SS contributions and had investments at work for MY money - stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc. I and many others would have been millionaires come reaching SS age. Bush tried to push it allowing individuals at least partial control over their SS contributions to invest on their own but as usual the libtards pushed back using lies and PC in their propaganda campaigns. The propaganda in the liberal newsrags like APAC was thick in response to Bush's wonderful proposal.
