how long does it take to turn a 1000g of trim and larf into rosin? and then collect and package for sale? the answer is difficult but from a production/for profit stand point its bho. from a home user stand point I would say rosin. I have yet to see lab results from rosin and bho made from the same material so potency is unknown

Seen some peeps using large presses, my concern is after the butane is purged, assuming they did it right, what's left? I've seen really high percentage wax and oil and even clear concentrate, but still not 100 %thc. What else is In bho ? Is there bi products?

Well it takes a few days to make bho. Purging to 0 ppm's.

Rosin you can you make the same amount in a day.

You will get a better yield with bho. But better quality and more terps with rosin. Rosin pulls 10%'-30% return depending on strain. Bho - 25% return on average.

It's cost about $2,500 for a closed loop system. $2,000-$8,000 for a vacuum oven. $400 for a distiller

Rosin press - $350. You can turn flower or hash into rosin. You can press a few grams every 30 seconds. Produce a gram every 60 seconds on average.

Or get a straightener and a grip. For $60 total. It will take about 5 minutes to make a gram of rosin.

Thc% is the same.

I love those terps....sooo tasty! When I lived in Cali I bought some "clear concentrate" the guy said it was made with heat and pressure and terps were collected and added back in or some shit.... I think they wer flavoring it with orange and lemon or something..... Tasted amazing, super strong sappy stuff... I'm not sure if it was bho or not...any one had co2 that was worth a damn? I've had no good tasting co2 oil and the strength always seemed weak. Maybe my dispenserararyeeee just didn't have the goods...

There are several types of distillation processes that can be used for removing terps. It's becoming more common. There are those few that buy over the counter terps and add back in. The real guys distilling the terps out are pulling them from cannabis flowers

Got me drooling hyroot! I will harvest 6 healthy bitches in 30-40 days and i'd LOVE to find a good, decent priced rosin set-up. This sounds appealing to me honestly.

As far as i knew,I thought "the clear" is distilled concentrate with terps added back later. They take low grade or bunk oil, distill it and then add back terps to the final product. It's "solvent free" which is abig difference between solventless. I used to get it all the time before sjo got shut down. It was $15 a gram

I now get (or used to get) this type of co2 oil.

The Indica is pretty damn good. They are usually around ~70% thc. The taste is pretty good but compared to BHO or rosin, the others would taste better in my opinion. But that's the only kind I would get. After 12/18 though, in San Jose, all dispensary are going to have to make everything in house (from growing to edibles) so I don't think I will get these anymore past then. Which is fine because I mostly make rosin now which is cheaper for me than to buy the oil.

Deff not bad for the price but I think I will stick to my dewalt hand clamp until maybe I get a 1 or 2 ton arbor press. Pretty good price though for sure compared to others out there.
