Bernie Sanders is losing ground in the polls, and political experts believe a much-awaited speech on socialism could be what Sanders needs to turn the tide against frontrunner Hillary Clinton.

He ain't his dad. My gut tells me he is just like the rest.
The apple doesnt fall far from the tree. He has said his style is different. He does try to play along. Once in power he will do what he thinks is right regardless. He is still the only one talking about military industrial complex. Just another veteran here supporting the only candidate for peace.

There's still just something about him that I perceive as ingenuous. Kinda like having a dope addict run a rehab clinic. Sure, he's real and knows that of which he speaks. But he just might be the dealer that helps so many relapse.

Idk, something don't sit right with me.

As of now, I see nobody I am willing to back.

Instead of trying to align yourself with a politician, consider writing a list of political issues important to you. Not the ones constantly blasting from the tv, the ones YOU care about.

Now, go through the list of current presidential candidates and see who's discussing the issues on your list and what their positions are.

For me, the only candidate that matched was Mr Sanders. No one else was even close.

Sanders says what I believe needs to be done. No one else- on either side of the political aisle- is even in the same conversation.
That's how I felt about Ron. And I believe he had the internal fortitude to at least try.

The left is marginalizing Sanders like the right did to RP.

I have done that but I am very suspicious of lip service .

...and they're doing it for good reason; he's a huge threat to their cozy lil money making machine.

I said it about Ron. UB is right when he says i supported RP. THINK he refers to meas a "Fanboi".
I think a lot of people are looking for the same things in their political leaders, but they're trained to respond to different action words. Righties and lefties are finding themselves closer to one another's positions than they think, it's just a matter of vocabulary.
