I am not sure of that. I am using HLG-185H-1400B for 2 72volt CXB3590 CB 30Gs.
I believe styles using 2 HLG 185 700 for 8 CXB3590,but might wanna ask him to be sure

I'm new here. I have an idea for a really low cost led grow light to cover a 4 foot square, that I'd like to share. It starts from the fact that "T5" format led lights are quite economical from China and can be had with "respectable" lumen output. My plan is to order 15each 4 foot 24W fixtures that claim 3000 lumens each @24watts each, specifying 3 cool white, 4 natural white, and 8 warm white at a cost of about $130. Make a 2'x4' frame out of aluminum angle stock with holes spaced 3", starting 3" from the end, for the mounting clips. The order of the lamps will be:
(ww),(NW),(ww),(CW),(ww),(NW),(ww),(CW),(ww),(NW),(ww),(CW),(ww),(NW),(ww)
The natural white and cool white will be on one "string" of 7 lights and the warm whites will be on another "string of 8 lights. The warm whites will only be on during "flower" while the natural & cool whites will be on for both veg and flower. My proposed coverage area is 4'x4' so I'll have about 2800 lumens / sq ft, about 22.5W/sqft with all lamps on (360wats total). Comments please!

I'm looking at going led for my new grow space. It will either be a 4x4 or 5x5 area. I'm not a diy type so I would prefer to buy something already assembled. What are some good companies to shop? I'm used to the black dog, apache, and other led companies but it seems like Cree cob is the new wave. Any good companies for this? Don't really care about price.

Anyone know if an 800w led light panel fitted with 80-10w double chipped leds sounds good for budding friend has 3-300w led panels(3w led)and gets around 2 pounds off 40 clones.

If you google or eBay cob manufactures you'll find lots and lots of the copycats and shit ones. As far as I know these are the only ones.

Well I'm the owner so yes I think so. It's right at 1000 umol output. So far in just basic footprint testing its pretty close to traditional 1000 watt setups. That's why I say comparable. It should be within 90%+ IMHO. It's output is very similar to bml spyder 1000 so time will tell. At the price I think it's a nice value especially with discount.

Gotta question why are you using CXA3070 instead of CXB? I'm just curious

i'm building a 3070 cob grow light and looking for opinions on using these to supplement the spectrum of the 3000k cob http://www.ebay.com/itm/361088303762?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT. I am a little concerned about the lack of blue light in the 3000k cob. will be using this as a flowering light and vegging with T5s.my experience with Chinese grow light like the mars hydro have not been good but many folks here seem to like the cree 3070 so im am starting a test grow with one SSH clone to compare it with my 2g11 lights.which use 6500k and full spectrum aquarium lights

cxb8 good coverage for a 5x5 tent? Or would I be better with the cx9?

Thanks PSUAGRO, sounds like I should avoid them really then, shame as I liked the idea of the fuller spectrum and being able to use them for both veg and flower stages, was just about to pull the trigger on one..

For a similar price range what would be recommended options to consider for a approx 300 watt LED system?
