I finally groked rosin.

I watched a video....it was funny, as the dude was kind of
apologizing for putting the technique down previously, when
he said "I didn't know that you juice buds" LOL

Thanks for sharing. I have sooo much to play with...and
some no-stick shit too.

P.S. Left this unsent last night....stoned! :0)

Haven't gotten a chance to read this yet but the tech is blowing up.

So, the rosin looks neat, but and this might be a dumb question, but if you're using heat to vape the oils and deposit them onto the parchment, couldn't you just skip the parchment and vape the buds?

its a concentrate. Most are hitting around 80% THC and the highest terpene profiles ever. You can probably vape rosin. Maybe... I did vape hash and ice wax last time I was at @SomeGuy 's using the volcano bags and a heat gun. I guess dabbing is a form of vaping too.

I made some rosin with some dry sift from some cured trim. Leaves pulled from buds when packing bowls

the dry sift is from a mix of strains. That rosin does taste better than the plushberry rosin. Not sure if its due to being from dry sift (cleaner rosin) or if its the strains. The dry sift rosin is a smaller yield too. But seems to be better quality.

Put that sift in your 25 micron blotting screen from your bubble bags then press with your hair straightener, you wont get any plant material in your wax that way. Happy toking!@

thanks captain obvious. You didn't notice the dry sift sitting on the 25µ blotting screen in the pic. I watch hash church and follow soilgrown too. My first post of rosin on my thread. Was made with 25u 3 star hash. and I explained using the screen then and in that thread in the concentrate section. Plus dry sift doesn't have plant matter.

45µ microplaned bubble / ice wax to rosin / solventless shatter.

Holy moly Hy! Nice work.

It was asked about vaping oil. Yes possible in the volcano. But IMO a dab rig is more efficient for oil. Soooooo....question

Is the best way to process into hash first and then make the rosin or do you like it straight from the bud better?

How much time/work involved compared to other methods?

Seems that a stupid hair straightener is pretty damn safe. :-)
